France gives green light to abortion on demand
Pro-life campaigners expressed their horror at the news of the vote.

Roman Catholic Bishop Bernard Ginoux of Montauban tweeted that the new legislation meant future generations are “in great danger”.

Alliance Vita, a French pro-life group, expressed its concern that psycho-social distress is an “unverifiable criterion”, suggesting this opens the door for women to have an abortion for any reason.

Currently around 220,000 legal abortions happen every year in France and campaigners fear the number will increase with the new amendments. ...

No worries. Only God's perspective. If someone spills seman on the ground, its all how God see it.Its our thoughts and intent that God look at our actions are but what was already decided, May God have mercy on us especially me and our inventions of evil no matter how small they may seem to us..
Peace and Grace on the Israel of God.

Eccl 11:5 As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all."

Life begins at conception.
The only way to change that is called murder.
Abortion is murder. It spreads like a disease in all nations. Mankind is an evil and abhorrent race of amoral creatures. Reprobates head towards judgment and eternal punishment and they do not have the intelligence to perceive their future.

Psalm 139:13 For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. 14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. 15 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. 16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them."

Neil,

Yes the French are very unusual. I have visited France several times and the thing I noted was they were simply unfriendly to foreigners. The only time we were treated in a friendly way was after 9/11 and that didn’t last long. But, I loved the food and the tourist sites they have. I believe the below was said by the Lord simply to show how the world will draw away from Him before the end comes. France is a perfect example.

Luke 18:8 “I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?”

2 Timothy 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

I'm only surprised to learn that this is new policy, for the French have long abandoned Catholic scruples on other ethical questions.

For example, while no culture has a monopoly on marital infidelity, the French reputation as masters of adultery has some merit:
"France was the only country where less than 50% of respondents described infidelity as unacceptable."
www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2014/01/14/french-more-accepting-of-infidelity-than-people-in-other-countries/

Or else this means that they're simply less hypocritical about it than others.

Psalms 127:3 Lo, children [are] an heritage of the LORD: [and] the fruit of the womb [is his] reward.

Psalms 22:9 But thou [art] he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope [when I was] upon my mother's breasts.

Luke 1:41 And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost: 42 And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed [art] thou among women, and blessed [is] the fruit of thy womb. 43 And whence [is] this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? [44] For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy.

Christians don’t have to “force the kingdom on others,” Jiminy. Jesus will do that Himself when He “...cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.”
You might want to get on the right side of the transaction, Jim. “Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.”
Don’t you know that “...The Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power”? Do you really prefer the kingdom of Satan to the kingdom of Christ?

From what I can recall, in the 1960’s and 1970’s, British evangelicals had this attitude, that evangelicals, apart perhaps from voting, should have nothing to do with opposing immoral laws; etc.that basically meant there was no opposition to these liberal laws. The Abortion Act of 1967 here in Britain was, I believe sneaked through a half empty House of Commons, when most MPs had left to go to their constituencies for the weekend. It was a fait accompli. The major evangelical voice was deafeningly silent, and we are still suffering from the results of this today.

Verse 36. My kingdom, &c. The charge on which Jesus was arraigned was that of laying claim to the office of a king. He here substantially admits that he did claim to be a king, but not in the sense in which the Jews understood it. They charged him with attempting to set up an earthly kingdom, and of exciting sedition against Caesar. In reply to this, Jesus says that his kingdom is not of this world--that is, it is not of the same nature as earthly kingdoms. It was not originated for the same purpose, or conducted on the same plan. He immediately adds a circumstance in which they differ. The kingdoms of the world are defended by arms; they maintain armies and engage in wars. If the kingdom of Jesus had been of this kind, he would have excited the multitudes that followed him to prepare for battle. He would have armed the hosts that attended him to Jerusalem. He would not have been alone and unarmed in the garden of Gethsemane. But though he was a king, yet his dominion was over the heart, subduing evil passions and corrupt desires, and bringing the soul to the love of peace and unity.
