SAT-7 said it aired the Arabic-language program ‘Lebanon: The Pain and Hope’ aimed at “reassuring shell-shocked viewers” in the capital.

Considered to be one of the most corrupt nations, Lebanon has a major problem to sort out its political administration. Two thirds Muslim and one third (pseudo)Christian, there is an atmosphere of corrupt bureaucracy and politicians. The police are considered one of their most corrupt institutions. Corruption has become a part of the culture of Lebanon so it is not in the least surprising that a deadly chemical bomb was left to fester and eventually to explode into vast destruction at the port. Will the explosion and death and destruction teach the people a harsh lesson for the future building of their society ..... ???
