People are calling for museums to be abolished
After years of resisting calls for its removal, New York's American Museum of Natural History (AMNH) has asked the city to dislodge from its front steps an equestrian monument to Theodore Roosevelt, the twenty-sixth US president, which depicts him charging forward, and towering over two mostly nude figures, one Black and one Indigenous.

In a statement dated June 2020 sent to museum staff, posted on the museum's website, Ellen Futter, president of the institution's board, said, "As we strive to advance our institution's, our City's, and our country's passionate quest for racial justice, we believe that removing the statue will be a symbol of progress and of our commitment to build and sustain an inclusive and equitable Museum community and broader society." (After the announcement President Donald Trump tweeted, "Ridiculous, don't do it!") ...

Aside from the disconnect, I love that kind of statement, Jim. It gives me an opportunity to express my American attitude toward such.

1. Who's "we"?

2. You will "let" me?

What I came to learn is that the Lord works so regularly in His sustainment of His creation that we have concepts erroneously called "natural laws."
Frank was dead on, Jim. Crowd- or mob-sourced truth can change like the wind. Only the truth from God never changes. Someday, those so called natural laws may not be the same here on Earth. But the Lord will be the same, yesterday, today, and tomorrow...from everlasting to everlasting. And His truth will never fade away.
Why are Mike's concerns only to be limited to NYC? Why not museums in Lincoln, NE?
Thanks brother! Yes, all I was trying to say is there is such a thing as absolute truth; truths that never change. Someone who thinks truth is progressive will never arrive at the absolute truth.

Malachi 3:6"‭‭For I ‭AM‭ THE LORD, I CHANGE NOT; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed."

Even though I didn't write the post that you responded to Frank, I think I'll answer your remark anyway. Someone is absolutely sure and most everything --he is usually a religious fanatic. There are instances of Christian is supposed to be sure, but in most cases politics is not an area that they are sure of, or should be.

A Muslim or a Romish Church member may be absolutely sure something, but in in most cases he is absolutely wrong❗👎

Mike, we will let you complain if they try to change one of the major museums in New York City.

Its really quite simple...

"Anarchism in the US began in the mid-19th century and started to grow in influence as it entered the American labor movements, growing an anarcho-communist current as well as gaining notoriety for violent propaganda of the deed and campaigning for diverse social reforms in the early 20th century.

post-WWII era, anarchism regained influence through new developments such as anarcho-pacifism, the American New Left and the counterculture of the 1960s.

In contemporary times, anarchism in the US influenced and became influenced and renewed by developments both inside and outside the worldwide anarchist movement such as platformism, insurrectionary anarchism, the new social movements (anarcha-feminism, queer anarchism and green anarchism) and the alter-globalization movements." (Wiki)

"In the wake of the Presidency of Donald Trump, as well the Unite the Right rally, anti-fascist groups have sprung up across the nation. This influx of anti-fascist organizing has brought many people into anarchist spaces. Numerous anarchists have organized as anti-racists in conjunction with the Black Lives Matter movement. Many anarchists in Floyd protests and have focused the narrative towards police defunding and abolition." (Wiki)

Silly me, I thought museums were places to reflect the works of history, places where we could learn the good and the bad. I didn't realize they were supposed to reflect the whims and feelings of today. For that, we have the media.

To call what has been going on for the last 30 years "Progress" is a sham. "Progress" is the modern way of "doing what is right in one's own eyes." Read the book of Judges, especially the last few chapters, and you will see that what is happening in America today is similar to what unfolded in Israel over 3000 years ago. What need to happen is reform and the laying down of the old landmarks of truth and justice; not anarchy.

Those who believe that truth is progressive will by their own definition never arrive at absolute truth since by their own definition their truth is subject to change; therefore it can’t be absolutely true. So simply ask them if they are absolutely sure there is no such thing as absolute truth. They can’t say yes to this question and they can’t say no. If they say yes, then they are contradicting their thoughts because they are saying they are in fact “absolutely sure” of their statement. If they say no, then they are directly denying the assertion they just made. That means their position must in fact be wrong. They base this thought in the concept that truth lies within each of us individually and therefore what might be true and binding to one person isn’t necessarily true and binding on someone else.

"What is progressivism and social reform?

"Progressivism, political and social-reform movement that brought major changes to American politics and government during the first two decades of the 20th century. It brought together diverse reformers with the common goal of making government more responsive to popular economic, social, and political demands. All authority in America is being attacked and removed because of satanic Liberalism.

Destroying the past is about who ‘owns’ the future.
As George Orwell points out.

Big Brother Liberalism is taking over.

‘Normal’ people will be pushed aside as decisions are made.

Where will this lead to??? ~~~ “civil war”

Repent sinners, no one is righteous, no, not one!

Marxism is not embraced by the many, but the few & there actions show us what they’re really about, Destruction & death!

Nothing to be loud & proud about, Look at Venezuela’s marxist meltdown . Fine example✔️

You’re beginning to see the silent majority activate & come dropping down on marxist, loke a hammer 🔨 oh yes i did... say that.
