If You Don’t Support Black Lives Matter, You’re Fired
There will be no opting out of the Black Lives Matter movement. You’re either for BLM or against it—and if you’re against it, you’re a racist. You will either support BLM publicly and enthusiastically, or you will be harassed, shunned, and shamed out of mainstream America. If you dare to speak a word against BLM, you will be targeted, mobbed, and probably fired.

That’s the message coming through loud and clear, not just from protesters but from corporations and institutions desperate to seem woke enough to escape the wrath of the BLM movement.

It doesn’t matter what your job or profession might be. It doesn’t matter if you’re in a position of power or prestige—in fact being in a position of power might make you more of a target. The only thing that can protect you from the BLM movement’s punitive rage is fealty. Bend the knee, and you might be spared. Then again, you might not. ...

I will start calling black people African Americans when they start calling me European American—and not “white boy.”

Interesting they call it "Black Lives Matter"...

For a while the NAACP was pushing for black people to be called "African Americans". So you would think that they wouldn't call their movement after something that is considered racist to many...

And there isn’t anyone in the White House or Congress or Supreme Court or church house who can define and articulate why we should defend our constitution. Silence by either the ignorant or stupid will destroy our nation. Pray the a man of God can shut their mouths.

Booker T added, “Great men cultivate love. Only little men cherish a spirit of hatred.” Washington was a critic of his contemporary, W.E.B. Dubois, who made a practice of fomenting racial division.

O’ that sounds to fimilar, as cities are being burned down & now several Seattle City blocks are declared no longer apart of the US. As Al Sharpton is the spoke person for every Black Man in America now.

Booker T Washington continued: “Some of these people don’t want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs. There is a certain class of race-problem solvers who don’t want the patient to get well, because as long as the disease holds out they have n’t only an easy means of making a living, but also an easy medium through which to make themselves prominent before the public.”

Praise the Lord when the Lord sets the captive free & Indeed to have a change of direction & a renewed mind in & through Christ amen!

Willn’t hear this from Lincoln or CNN, etc!

In his 1901 book, Up From Slavery, Booker T Washington wrote: “I..resolved that I would permit no man, no matter what his color might be, to narrow & degrade my soul by making me hate him. With God’s help, I believe that I have completely rid myself of any ill feeling toward the Southern white man for any wrong that he may have inflicted upon my race. I am made to feel just as happy now when I am rendering service to Southern white men as when the service is rendered to a member of my own race. I pity from the bottom of my heart any individual who is so unfortunate as to get into the habit of holding race prejudice.”

""That’s the message coming through loud and clear, not just from protesters but from corporations and institutions desperate to seem woke enough to escape the wrath of the BLM movement.""

Here we go again.

Previously we had to accept the perverts and their sick lifestyle under LGBT. Or these people hiding under the re-defined word 'gay'

Hiding behind these terms obviously shows their hidden shame for what they really are.

Now we have to accept society and national history being attacked because of what happened in previous centuries. How inane can you get?

It would also seem that various politicians, bureaucrats and institutions are acceding (grovelling) to these anarchists, Liberalists and other malcontents.

Who is really in charge today???

Quote:-
"This isn’t an evolutionary movement but a revolutionary one. It doesn’t draw on our tradition of constitutionalism but on Marxism. Its model isn’t the American Revolution but the French Revolution—hence the purges, which for now are confined to the workplace." (from Article)

Citizen is not only correct, but we must not only stand together, but as individuals too!

These tactics are used by the enemy of our soul since the fall of man.

Political Islam belongs in that list too!

They all need Christ, let’s not only pray, but live out it to... actively so.

Praise God!!!!!!!!

Adding the following verse to my argument --

Who so sheddeth man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God hath he made man. - Genesis 9:6

On the topic of Jim L, I believe he is a lonely retired man with little else to do but gain attention for himself. I think we need to spend more time in prayer for this poor man. All lives matter, even Jim's.

Over the years, I and others have asked Jim if he is a "paid" troll or simply a troll. He has never responded to that question.

I have also asked him if he was part of the Black Liberation movement ( a cult) and he has never responded to that either.

To me, the above possibilities explain his posts and tenacity.

A Christian, thank you for taking the time to challenge a bit of theology. Others here have stated that to be in God's image means to have come to saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. I believe it was Dr. Tim's excellent discussion of this that first brought that viewpoint to my knowledge. I disagree, but certainly see his point. If we are children of Adam naturally, we hear his traits. Genesis tells us that the Lord made man "in our own image." If we take "man" here as plural, that relates to us directly. If we take man as singular (I don't read Hebrew, sadly), we bear those traits through nature. The Westminister Divines agreed with my general viewpoint, which put me at least in broad company if wrong. But my savior is the Lord and not my understanding, for which I am quite glad. I'd never pass the entrance exam to get into heaven.

How else one single person could keep up the multi facet ongoing track of endless and random liberal links without personal responsible accountability before God, thoughtful braining, soul, passion or actual conviction as a believer?
Such traits above would pertain to humans, the lack of them to a machinery.

Why, Timothy, good morning to you too ❗🌚

Actually, the last message I put up was really all about religion it shouldn't intersect that much with politics. The first one by Dave Hunt, is interesting in its entirety. And the second one, by John MacArthur is also worthy of reading.

If the gospel is so important to you, Jim, and politics is such a waste of time, why don’t you get off this forum, where all you ever do is spend hours every week on politics, politics, politics, and go spread the gospel? Okay, you won’t give a straight answer—you never do—so I’ll answer the question for you: you’re a lying, hypocritical snake in the grass, that’s why.

Dave Hunt wrote:
I went on to explain that we cannot force the ungodly to live by God's standards.... I cannot find teaching or example in the entire Bible to indicate that Christians are to combat the world's sins except with the gospel....

Why is it that those who are so concerned about the immoral behavior of the godless all around us seem so little concerned about the false gospel of Roman Catholicism which is leading nearly a billion souls to hell, or about the heresy and unbelief within the church? ... Why don't the Christian activists show concern for this unbelief which eternally damns souls?...

Dave Hunt certainly didn't get everything perfectly, but he had an excellent opinion of on the above ❗👍

What hypocrisy! Those who are truly committed to the preservation of Black lives should also vehemently oppose abortion. Abortion is by far the most common means to end Black lives in America.
