Sermons on 'injustice' and 'suffering' increase amid pandemic, Floyd protests
Faithlife says there’s been an increase this spring in sermons published on its online platform that discuss injustice, eschatology, suffering, sickness and other topics related to the coronavirus pandemic as well as the recent protests in the wake of George Floyd’s death.

Every week, at least 1,000 to 1,500 new sermons are published by pastors using the Logos Bible Software onto, a website that provides tools and resources for worship and Bible study.

About 75% of those sermons include keyword tags created by the author that highlight the subject of the sermons, according to the company. ...

Jeremiah 8:11

Treating people’s wounds superficially? They think they’re getting spiritual help and they’re not.

If it were to root out apostate preachers then the faculty and graduate from every seminary of the current SBC persuasion would need to be thinking real hard, do I follow Moore and Greer or the Lord, might need to decide who’s side was we are on.

how interesting that there is another website to listen to sermons. i wonder how many there are out there?
in terms of racism, i heard that 11am Sundays is the most segregated hour in the US, because blacks and whites attend different churches.
i also heard a black guy say that he preferred going to the white church where everything was on a tight schedule and would end in an hour or so, while at his black church, it would go on and on..

The riots, looting, & Socialist-inspired societal destruction are helpful in rooting out the apostate pastors who hold dear society's idols made in the image of Satan.
If I see or hear a pastor bend the knee to Baal, then I am never going to waste more than one second on their godless church and ministry.
They bend the knee to Baal by weeping over the so-called 'protests' (riots), and by submitting to racial theories that are about power (BLM, so-called 'white privilege').
We are being overloaded with evils constantly. (Rev 12:15)

Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Isaiah 56:10 His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.

Isaiah 59:14 And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter.

Jeremiah 48:10 Cursed be he that doeth the work of the LORD deceitfully, and cursed be he that keepeth back his sword from blood.

I agree, Dr. Tim. I have known pastors to change directions in long planned sermon series in order to address congregational or community areas of concern. A glance at the SA homepage shows that many pastors were attempting to apply the word of the Lord to the COVID crisis. A large church we worshipped with online seemed to have great fear and upset, to which the senior pastor changed course and preached thru a section of Scripture to set their hearts on the Lord and heaven, not this world.

In my life, it has been times of trial that the Lord used to build and further my faith. My prayer is that He used this time similarly in the lives of others.

While an interesting article, and I hope it means that most pastors are realizing,

Romans 8
7 because the mind set on the flesh is hostile toward God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so;
8 and those who are in the flesh cannot please God.--- (NASB)

It looks like there is too little being preached against false doctrine❗👎 (We Must Stand Against False Doctrine)

Anyway, quite a few interesting articles on the whole page of the SA article like the one mentioning how a visiting priest closed down a few Catholic churches in Nebraska, because he was positive for covid-19

Preaching is when God gives a man a message and that man gives that message to the people. Pandering is when a man (or woman) delivers a message that he or she thinks will appeal to and please a particular audience. Micaiah was a preacher. His four hundred opponents were merely pandering to King Ahab. Topical sermons can be very powerful if they arise from the heart of God, and not from within the messenger’s own heart.
