Barr: Law enforcement must ‘dominate’ streets amid protests
U.S. officials vowed to “maximize federal law enforcement presence” in the nation’s capital Monday night after days of violent demonstrations led to fires across Washington and left scores of businesses with broken windows and dozens of police officers injured.

In a call with governors, President Donald Trump and Attorney General William Barr also encouraged more aggressive action against those who cause violence during protests across the country following the killing of George Floyd, a black man who died after a white Minneapolis policeman pressed his knee into his neck for several minutes even after Floyd stopped moving and pleading for air. The demonstrations have turned violent in several cities, with fires ignited in Lafayette Park across from the White House. ...

No, QC, we are certainly no more righteous, without Christ, than the vilest of sinners. But ”he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” It is not capitalism—although I am all for capitalism—that has made America great. It isn’t even democracy—and I believe democracy is to be preferred above any other humanly devised system of government—that made America a beacon to the world. No, the one thing that has elevated America is the gospel of Jesus Christ, and as long as the gospel is still going forth across and out of America, America is worth saving. I don’t want to see her destroyed, and that is exactly what Antifa, AOC, communist college professors and others are trying to do. May God smite them upon the cheek bone and break the teeth of the ungodly.

I hear your angst, Brother Tim. You do have a valid point. But before the Lord, are we any more righteous in our own filthy rags without Christ?

No one can successfully justify the rioting, looting, arson, or attacks on police with rocks, bullets, and even caustic chemicals. Justice in this country comes through the criminal justice system, as flawed as it might be.

We really need to have a national conversation not on race, or just about race, but also the heretical Critical Theory and its failure to properly characterize people of whatever ethnicity, etc. We are the targets because we are somehow unrepentant heterosexual white men.

Guilt is the key tool of the CT theorists and expressers. So many young people are on this "social justice" agenda due to their expression of guilt for having been born into white middle class families. It is false guilt built on false premises, a crowd-sourced morality that ignores the Lord's inspired word and His precepts.

Did you notice where these riots are happening? Big cities, right? This means people will decide that living in a city is not worth it. If I were a real estate developer, I would be looking to build more areas like The Villages in Central Florida, limited in age to those 55 and above. I would not build large condos in central cities to sell to young people, or refugee capital leaving other countries. Even foreigners can see the news and tell where they might even own condos in these buildings. You may laugh, but many Hong Kong millionaires have invested heavily in condos in places like Miami, and they do not like what they are seeing.
It also means guns sales are going up; people want to protect what they have, and these riots are like a sign---police will not protect your property.
Do you remember in the riots after the Rodney King incident in LA? The Korean shop owners stood on top of the roofs of their shops, armed with shotguns and AR-15 rifles, ready to take action. Funny how the protesters did not touch their stores.

Also, what does this mean for race relations in the US? Didn't we vote for a president whose mother was white, father black?
Didn't we cheer the rocket launch by Space X, headed by Elon Musk, an African American?

The “protesters” are screaming for “justice.” What a stinking joke. They are like a herd of whores demanding purity.
