Nigerians: Coronavirus can't infect 'children of God'?
Twenty six percent of Nigerians believe they canât be infected with coronavirus because they are âchildren of Godâ, a study has claimed.
According to the study carried out by NOIPolls, they also believe they cannot contract the killer virus because of other factors including strong genes, the countryâs weather, intake of herbs and the belief that the virus is âunAfricanâ.
NOIPolls is a country-specific polling service in the West African region, with support from Gallup (USA) to develop opinion research in Nigeria. It is named after Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala (NOI), its creator who happens to be an ex-VP of world bank....

Total immunity is not one of the blessings which GOD provides to sinners.
Suffering and death are part of the experiences of real life.
Endurance is closer to the gift of God during trauma and the ordeal of life on earth.
2Cor 12:7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. 8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. 9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me."
And the Lord promised:- "My grace is sufficient for thee"

This area of Christianity is certainly intriguing. Here are some of my thoughts. If a missionary has been sent by the Lord to a dangerous area, then the Lord will either protect him from âany and all dangersâ or He will permit him to be killed. IOW, if they are bitten by a poisonous snake, it will not harm them unless the Lord âallows itâ. Nothing is difficult for the Lord.
During my travels, I have seen the Lord work in contemporaneous ways that cannot be humanly explained. And, during those same travels, I have seen the Lord not do the things I prayed about and expected.
So, I simplify my thoughts this way. It is my responsibility to pray and ask the Lord for something "in faith". It is His responsibility to say yes, no or later. I do my part and of course He will do His. I am the slave; He is the owner. My faith should not be affected by His response.
Lastly, if our heavenly Father doesnât answer prayers, then He is not God. If He answered all my prayers in the manner I asked for, I would quickly become someone who thinks they can order God around; like a genie. So, I am against Deism and Charismania.
Hebrews chapter 11 said the world was not worthy of those that were martyred.
There is no doubt biblically that there is provision for the body in the atonement, especially healing. The only problem I see, is when exactly does that benefit become available? A verse in the gospels, quoting an OT prophecy, appears to show it is here and now, and this was why there was so much power in the early church. My tendency is to believe it is future, after resurrection. After all, we know for certain that no believer will ever be sick, or die, after they are resurrected, and are living in eternity. Whereas how many believers do you know who have been cured of serious illnesses like MS, ME, Cancer, Parkinsons, Dementia, and so on? I have not seen any myself.
