Governor Kemp to pastors: ‘We need you in this fight’
Governor Brian Kemp, in an interview with The Christian Index, stressed the importance of churches in the current battle against the spread of COVID-19.
“It’s going to be the community that stops this,” Kemp told interviewer Maina Mwaura, citing Dr. Deborah Birx of the U.S. Coronavirus Task Force. “And the way to do that is to adhere to the directives that are coming out of Washington, the CDC, Governor’s Office, and Georgia Department of Public Health.”
“This is an all-hands-on-deck approach,” Kemp stated. “I can’t tell you how many people are letting me know they’re praying for me. We need it more than ever right now. This is going to be a tough thing to get through, but we have a strong faith in the people in our state. I want the pastors and faith leaders know that we need them in this fight.”...

Excuse, me, Mr. Lincoln, but your slip is showing. The president did not say that chloroquine is a game changer. He said “It could be a game changer. Maybe not.” In your untiring zeal to undermine the president, you will stoop to any act of perfidy, including slander and outright lies. Shame on you. If you are going to base your entire belief system on the Internet, at least read enough to know the facts and report them.

Makes sense. Use SermonAudio, precious people. There are almost two million sermons that are currently available on this site. I listen/watch several selective sermons here on SermonAudio every morning and later in the night, every day. I love the Word. Be safe. God's blessings to everybody.
I will have to agree with Pastor Scott Hecht on this one❗👍😷
Pastor Scott Hecht wrote: At times, we call off Sunday services, or midweek activities due to snow or other inclement weather. Why? Because we are also concerned with our members safety.
With the coronavirus, we’re seeking not only for the safety of individual members of our church but also for the well-being of our city, state and nation. As Dr. Deborah Birx stated at this afternoon’s press conference, the guidelines given today “will only work if every American takes this together to heart and responds as one nation, and one people to stop the spread of this virus.” And moments later, Dr. Anthony Fauci said of the same guidelines, “they will fail if people don’t adhere to them.” As good citizens, and as Christians who love our neighbors, we want to be doing our part to fight the spread of this virus. And in addition to our church activities, we would recommend in your daily lives that you follow the CDC guidelines as much as possible to limit gatherings to 10 or fewer....

I think quite a few pastors in Lincoln agree with Pastor Hecht on this particular topic.
