Religious freedom sacrificed in coronavirus fight
The United States Commission on International Religious Freedom warned on Tuesday that the coronavirus pandemic was worsening religious persecution in countries such as China and Iran.

Other countries have also taken steps that have restricted religious practice, including the United States, where many churches have suspended services in compliance with bans on large gatherings.

The commission found fault with China, where the virus originated, for its treatment of Uighur Muslims, who have reportedly been forced to continue working in Wuhan factories during the city's quarantine, despite the high risk of contracting the disease. The Uighurs that have been quarantined have also faced discrimination, with Chinese authorities limiting their access to food and demanding payment for basic necessities. ...

These days are unique in the history of man.

The nations rise up against God His Word and His servants.

And now a pandemic is added to the mix!!

"It is better to go to the house of mourning, than to go to the house of feasting: for that is the end of all men; and the living will lay it to his heart.
3 Sorrow is better than laughter: for by the sadness of the countenance the heart is made better.
4 The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning; but the heart of fools is in the house of mirth." Eccl 7:2-/

v8 Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit."

v10 Say not thou, What is the cause that the former days were better than these? for thou dost not inquire wisely concerning this."

Carl, you are so right. I pray, when this is over, Our business and pharmaceutical community, rethinks, the relationship with China is not worth our lives for the electronics, clothes, name brand shoes, and medication. Did the government or business community think that for 45 years our elderly, or youths, money, and inventiveness was worth this storm? Pay more for products? We’ve already paid more , dearly.

We (the Western consumers) buy our I-phones, Lenovo computers, Nike athletic gear, pharmaceuticals (some to fight the coronavirus), and a great amount of goods and produce found in Walmart and Amazon that were manufactured and processed in China using forced labor from both Muslims and Christians. We should manufacture our own goods. Yes, it will cost more but we will not be held hostage to a dystopian regime bent on world domination. China is merely a greater or more "prosperous" North Korea.

Now there's an unusual thing, that Muslims should be forced to continue working in Wuhan factories. Are the authorities trying to reduce the numbers of Muslims in China?
