Franklin Graham to tour Britain despite venue cancellations
Unrepentant, the 67 year old told Premier his views aren't different to most Christians.

"I believe the Bible teaches that marriage is between a man and a woman," he said. "That's the Church of England's position. I think Her Majesty the Queen, that's her position and it's the position of the Church, pretty much worldwide. This is what the Bible teaches and that's what I believe."

Addressing the 'friendly fire' which has seen numerous church groups speak out against him and those who traditionally would have supported his visit - such as the Evangelical Alliance and the Archbishop of Canterbury - refusing to give their public support, he said: "That's certainly their right to do that. But at the same time, by telling people not to come, sometimes that encourages people to come and I hope that's the case." ...

Ha! I lived on top of a hill once, for about three years, overlooking the Vale of Taunton in Somerset. It was most wonderful. Plenty of fresh air, great views for miles around. But often very windy. The only water was from a well dug in the front garden.

Jim, it took me a while, but I finally found out who Dr. Rugh is. He’s a podiatrist in Snailburg, Kansas, who gives lollipops to his juvenile patients and Cheetos to the adults. Not sure what his connection to theology is, but hey, it’s a free country and everyone has a right to an opinion. One of his opinions seems to be that parachurch organizations have no place in Christianity, and of course you agree, Jim, or you wouldn’t have quoted him. So get off of this forum sponsored by a parachurch organization!

If Franklin Graham can challenge the norms in the U.K., , then pray he will have the church repent and return to Christ. His crusade needs to be for the lost sinners sitting in a heretical church. Pray they learn the difference.
There is no regeneration in the membership of many churches. Hence no repentance, godliness, sanctication, self denial or fruit, but gymmics to keep buildings 'full', which in reality remain empty

Sexual Orientation: It’s Not a Sin

Kathy Vestal November 19, 2012 General, LGBTQ+ 148

WHY AM I WRITING THIS BLOG?
Homosexuality is the social justice issue of this generation, and I cannot keep from speaking out. The Church is wrong about this, clinging to traditional judgments that are increasingly incompatible with scientific truth, and incompatible, in my opinion, with Jesus’ life and ministry

Scripture alone will not lead the Church to a full understanding on this issue.

From the above article are quotes taken

THAT is who Kathy Vestal is.

I am glad to see that Franklin is going ahead with his tour.
Whilst I cannot agree with all his theology, I do believe that the society of Britain is hypocritical in denying free speech and freedom of religion.

The ONLY reason the sodomites have something to shout and riot about is that the Word of GOD rejects their moral corruption.

GAL 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things SHALL NOT INHERIT the kingdom of God."

Thus ALL of the above are sentenced to hell and damnation by GOD in HIS judgment.

Franklin's position on sodomite behavior is Biblical and correct.
For millennia the UK have accepted this truth and its judiciary and courts have sought to maintain God's law in British society.

By changing the Law to open the doors to committing this evil crime the Nation has rebelled against GOD and demonstrated themselves to be satanic and evil.

The wrath of God is upon this nation.
Romans 1:18-32 refers.

Most parachurch groups have good intentions. I do not doubt the godliness and sincerity of those involved in these groups. They want to see people saved and believers grow in their Christian walks. However, we must take a step back and see if we are carrying out God's work in the way He has prescribed or if we are substituting His plan with our own. God’s work must be done God’s way. Those who raise the issue of defining God’s way for carrying out the ministry are often accused of being against evangelism. In a certain sense, evangelism has become the end, and the means to that end do not matter. There is the idea that we must reach the world; therefore, we cannot be divided over doctrinal issues. While this sounds good, it is not biblical. We must have a passion to reach the lost people of this world, but we must do it with the desire and passion to be biblically correct. The church is to be “the pillar and support of the truth” (1 Tim. 3:15), not the arbitrator of what truth is important and what truth is less important....

I have absolutely no idea, of Dr Rugh's opinion of Graham, but my opinion of him, he's a peddler of the Word👎

So it's strident to say marriage is between a man and a woman? Nice try, but where are the adulterers, the greedy, and the liars trying to keep him from speaking publicly? Deception is not your strong point, Jim.

Jim; It’s utterly amazing how your speech on here, never reflects, I would be still a objecti of God’s wrath. If it weren’t of the mercies of the Lord. Being bestowed on my life, from Up Above Alone!

Another reminder of your spiritual bondage you are currently are inslaved into, as a enemy of the Cross!

J. C. Ryle; “It’s n’t hard to deceive ministers, relatives & friends. But it’s impossible to deceive Christ."

The poor in spirit roll themselves in the dust in the sense of their unworthiness. 'I abhor myself in dust' (Job 42:6).

Kathy Vestal was a bag lady who was arrested and charged in Southampton, England, in 1991, for stealing milk and newspapers off people's doorsteps. She became very learned ( ) through reading the newspapers, and it is said that her face became extremely pale and white on account of excessive milk drinking. Anyway, she got six months inside, and unfortunately died of heart failure due to milk withdrawal symptoms. Or am I thinking of Cathy Vestibule?

In the 1970s when Jerry Falwell changed the face of American Christianity by marrying it with conservative politics, Rev. Graham refused to be a part of it. Although a Southern Baptist and a registered Democrat, he never let either of those distinctions rule his life. Graham willingly pastored all presidents regardless of political party, from Truman to Obama.

He refused in 1979 to join Falwell’s Moral majority, saying, “I’m for morality, but morality goes beyond sex to human freedom and social justice. We as clergy know so very little to speak with authority on the Panama Canal or superiority of armaments.  Evangelists cannot be closely identified with any particular party or person.  We have to stand in the middle in order to preach to all people, right and left.“...

Billy Graham had his faults---Franklin Graham even has more being a moralist and not an evangelist. For nearly a decade we can see how he departed from his father's example an indeed that of great evangelists going back to the apostle Paul who didn't ignore the fact ---

Romans 8:7 For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God's law; indeed, it cannot. 8 Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.---ESV

If Franklin Graham is going to be a moralist, why doesn't he come out as stridently against adultery, greed, and lying? Doesn't bring in the big bucks?
