Separation of Church and Space? Attacks Against Space Force Bible
They’re not lost in space — just in constitutional confusion if not antipathy.

Militant anti-Christians are up in arms again talking about the “separation of church and state.” Raising their ire this time was the blessing of the new Space Force’s official Bible, which took place this past Sunday. The Holy Book will be provided to corps commanders who choose to be sworn in on it. But Mikey Weinstein, founder and president of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, is apparently not pro-choice.

Weinstein, who really does go by “Mikey,” has made a career out of trying to purge America’s foundational faith from the military. He’s not shy about his biases, either, making statements such as, “Today, we face incredibly well-funded gangs of fundamentalist Christian monsters who terrorize their fellow Americans by forcing their weaponized and twisted version of Christianity upon their helpless ...

Realistically, what civilized aspect of our current civilization has Christianity not given us? Look at history.

And why would anybody want to return to the sadomasochist, pagan cannibalism of our past and the utter moral debauchery of the pre-flood era?!? Why return to the worship of sticks, stones, and piles of dirt?!? Why return to the drinking of goats blood and praying to trees when we can worship the true and living God who is better than anything and anyone?!? Why return to walk in darkness when we have had the light for so long?!? Why grovel in the mud when we can soar with the eagles?!?

The phrase “separation of Church and State”, as used by Jefferson and understood by the Danbury Baptist Association, meant church denomination , not separation of Christiany from the state. At the time of this letter some of the states still retained state churches. The Baptist were perscuted in those states. They worried that the federal government would adopt a denomination. People need to consider who and what Wiensten is. That is a Jew and a knave.

From Article::
""why say that the man-made beliefs we happen to call “secular” may be in the public square, but the man-made beliefs we happen to call “religious” may not be? If they’re all man-made, wherein lies the difference?""

What an excellent point.

Of course the problem with the secular atheist community is that they believe everything stems from human conviction. So if that is the truth then it becomes a simple matter of 'change of mind'

Faith comes from God and NOT from human faculty.
Just as the Bible was written by God and not sinners.

But God keeps the reprobates in ignorance and alienated from the life of God. (Eph 4:18)

Part of the trials and tribulations (and persecutions) of Christian life comes from the ignorance and blindness of the majority of human beings on earth.

Ultimately though these poor reprobate atheists living in the darkness are going to live in eternal hell.
Meanwhile Satan and sin run their hearts, minds and lives. And they are completely oblivious to the fact.

The reprobate atheists cannot accept sin's influence within themselves. But.....
1John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us."

Your point has laser accuracy, Mike, and Jim just confirmed it with his quote from BDM (Backwoods Duck Mauler?). The liberals don’t “feel” that any of the Founding Fathers were born-again Christians, despite numerous clear statements to the contrary by the founders themselves, so they call them “deists” instead. Besides, if the Founding Fathers weren’t really Christians, then the liberals “feel” that our nation’s heritage is not a Christian heritage at all, but a heritage of every man (not to mention everyone who can’t decide if he’s a man, a woman, or a cow) doing that which is right in his own eyes. How’d that work out for Israel? Jesus said that if the blind lead the blind, they’ll both fall into the ditch, but with the liberals in power, we have the blind leading the blind and the stupid. They still fall in the ditch, but they think the ones who got them there can somehow get them out.

Yes some Catholics have even been converted to Protestantism while using Catholic Bibles, even by themselves, with of course God's help there is some Catholic Bibles that are in good, modern English not antiquated Elizabethan such as the King James version is. This way people know what they are reading.

But this is still beside the point, a Catholic Bible is a heretical. This is why later versions of the KJV even had the Apocrypha not included in them.

Yes, those liberals Thomas Jefferson and James Madison believed in separation of church and state❗👍

It should be added:

BDM wrote:
The God of the founding fathers was a benevolent deity, ... This God had made the world an orderly and understandable place. He had created mankind with great skill and imbued him with nearly infinite potential. They were utterly convinced that human exertion and goodwill could make America a nearly ideal place. They were not, in any traditional sense, Christian....

Jefferson’s point about the “wall of separation” was that government must not interfere with religion, Jim, and not that religion should not affect the way we run our government. But of course liberals always—ALWAYS!—twist the truth, so why should it be any different when it comes to religion?
Liberals cannot decipher what they read, because that requires thought. Since they are led by their feelings, they don't come to see what is true, but what they feel should be true.

Mr Lincoln, I don’t know what you are speaking about!! This attack by this atheist, Mikey Weinstein, who actually wishes illegally to see militant atheism as the state religion of the USA, no doubt not just in the military, but in the whole of government, enforced by law, (as in the former Soviet Union, as in China, and as in North Korea), is to outlaw the Word of God completely in public life.

By the way, wrong though they are, the Catholic version of the Bible has been used by evangelicals to witness to Roman Catholics, as the traditional Catholics will not read a “Protestant” Bible. When they have been converted they have set the Catholic Bible aside, and now use a normal Protestant Bible.

Of far more concern to me, is the increasing number of Protestant Evangelicals, who have abandoned the Bible that was translated at the time of the Reformation, and use one of the myriads of versions from the liberal Westcott & Hort / Nestle & Aland texts, including even many otherwise solid evangelical and even Reformed churches.

The NewGerman magazine should recognize that the two major groups Protestants and Catholics don't use the same Bible Protestants consider there are unacceptable flaws in the Romish Bible❗👎 The following article well more than adequately point that out. (How We Got Our Bible)
The mouthpiece for the John Birch Society also has wrong:

Constitution Facts wrote:
Jefferson wrote a letter to the Danbury Baptist Association in 1802 to answer a letter from them written in October 1801....The Danbury Baptists were a religious minority in Connecticut, and they complained that in their state, the religious liberties they enjoyed were not seen as immutable rights, but as privileges granted by the legislature — as "favors granted." Jefferson's reply did not address their concerns about problems with state establishment of religion — only of establishment on the national level. The letter contains the phrase "wall of separation between church and state," which led to the short-hand for the Establishment Clause that we use today: "Separation of church and state."...
