California Law Protecting Car Thieves Leaves Tourists at Major Disadvantage
loophole in a California state law that allows some car break-ins to go unpunished has created a car burglary crisis in the state.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, state law requires proof that a vehicle was locked for a break-in to count as felony burglary.

“It’s ridiculous that under current law you can have a video of someone bashing out a car window, but if you can’t prove that the door is locked you may not be able to get an auto burglary conviction,” state Sen. Scott Wiener told the Los Angeles Times. ...

Somehow the basic idea that "what is your is yours", has been exchanged for "what is your is your if you can keep it"...

New York and California seem to be competing with each other in seeing which state can pass the most outrageous and stupid laws. I just hope the Californians won't infect Texas with their radical ideas.

According to Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, thieves were considered "Socially Friendly" by Communist dogmatists, explaining why thieves got easier treatment in the Gulags than "politicals." Democrats, natural allies of criminals, seem to be imitating this thinking, albeit in a different way.

But I predict that once their speed-bump, Trump, is gone and Democrats capture the Fed. gov't (which I consider only a matter of time), Christians will be treated worse than convicted felons.
