Hugh Grant admits he was 'plain wrong' about marriage and having children
In an interview with Chris Evans on the Virgin Radio show on Monday, though, he admitted that marriage was something he "put off" and now that he is a husband, his feelings about it have changed completely.
After tying the knot in a "very small affair" last year, he told Evans that he has no regrets and has actually enjoyed it.
"Well, I was just plain wrong. I was wrong. And children, you know, I used to roll my eyes. People would say, oh Hugh you don't understand it, but they were right," he said....
I would prefer to see an article from the New York Times written by Rep. Nancy Pelosi, apologizing for the farce that this impeachment process has been, and saying she should have stayed home, taking care of her grandchildren, because she is finally acknowledging the truth of the Bible when in 1 Timothy 5, guidelines are given for older women. I don't know if you listen to any of the many 'family-focus' Christian podcasts or radio shows, but I have never heard one of them study 1 Timothy 5 to teach its clear instructions as to how the older Christian women should live her life. Maybe they are afraid of a backlash from them, and a reduction in their donations.
Hugh who? It's not unusual for me to not be familiar with the so-called movie "stars" and the Hollywood crowd--the "entertainment" world.
To Youth in Asia, from what I am now learning from comments from others that were posted here about this Hollyweird "actor," and his lifestyle--well, it is not at all too far-fetched an idea that this person, for this man to eventually start speaking out in favor of same sex marriages.
Great news, though it's too bad it's not coming from a mainstream source. I will bet Yahoo will not touch this one. Of course, one man's opinion can always be set aside with the ever-present, 'that's fine for you, but for me...' And, since when did Hugh Grant become an expert on anything. Last time I looked, actors memorize lines and recite them. That's it. And yet people think they are great sages in today's culture!
He was a role model for an ungodly hollywood lifestyle for many years, now in his old age, not the hunk he was before, decides to try this thing called marriage. Even then it's a wordly definition of marriage, I have no doubt he would encourage LGBT people to get married.
Grant’s line up photo after getting caught with a transsexual prostitute will always be my memory of him. Actors invented the “ cool “ factor. They can fornicate, be violent, opine about how the rich should have avoid paying taxes and how the middle class are too stupid and how the poor can’t help themselves. The “ cool kids” at the lunch room were allowed to live above the sea of rules while the rest were made to look like losers. Hugh Grant you backed the liberal labor party- go home, and be a husband and father.
