A student has been expelled from the Oklahoma City University School of Law after posting flyers that said âITâS OKAY TO BE WHITE.â
Law enforcement didnât find evidence of a crime, and the student was found to be non-threatening to campus safety, Citty said. Although the student was expelled for coming on school property, he isnât facing a charge of trespassing.
âI said that originally when this happened is that we have to find out what that personâs intent was,â Citty said. âThereâs enough things to look at where we wanted to make sure that he didnât have any other intentions besides putting posters up on the school.â
In a statement to students and faculty, law school Dean Jim Roth praised the group that removed the flyers and notified OCU administrators. ...
