Pelosi: ‘Prayerful’ Democrats in ‘Firm Reliance on Divine Providence’ Will Impeach Trump
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D.-Calif.) gave an address in the Capitol this morning to inform the country that “prayerful” Democrats—following the Founders’ ‘firm reliance on Divine Providence’—will move forward with impeaching President Donald Trump.

“Sadly, but with confidence and humility, with allegiance to our Founders, and a heart full of love for America, today I am asking our chairman to proceed with articles of impeachment,” Pelosi said.

When the Anglicans/Episcopalians/Roman Catholics try to suggest that they are Christian, - the true Church repudiates them for ideological heresy, idolatry and Liberalism. Their religion is human conviction and not faith.

When Democrat politicians on the Left try to claim a religious affiliation for their party politics it can only be seen as a delusion by the religious reprobate. And an attempt to convince gullible voters of their "nice" "cordial" "civilized" and "sweet" political outlook. A kind of "Vote for us we are wonderful plea"???

Pelosi's deception is about as religious as a malevolent rattler complete with fangs, and forked tongue.

"what appears to be underlying hate of Christians?"

Haha you pathetic ironic deflector, and you the perfect example of a shameless avoider who NEVER EVER has the guts to deal with the facts of anything I post. You are the typical self blinded theologian that I have dealt with for decades from before you were even born. Never having the guts to face the truth about what you or other so called Christians ever do or claim to believe in. All you live to do is make excuses and deflect deflect deflect, that is what they will carve in your tombstone...."he lived to avoid".

What is even more ironic is that your types always specifically remember me for what I posted, even though I rarely ever come here and post anything. What few things I have ever said roasts the hypocrisy of your own consciences so much you never forget me, but you never learn from it and continue on your ways just like all blinded theologians who live to avoid and deny and reinterpret.

No, Mike, the article came from the Atlantic magazine, now the following is from CNN.👍 Now the CNN article itself is pretty short. However if you go to some of the links in it, such as Henry Hyde concluding remarks to the Senate, then that will add quite a bit to the material to read. It gets its point across in the main article though.
Brian Stelter wrote:
The last time Washington was in the grip of an impeachment inquiry, there was a Republican lawmaker who wanted us all to view the news through the eyes of a child.

Henry Hyde, who chaired the House Judiciary Committee during the impeachment of President Clinton, read aloud a letter he said he received from a third grader in Chicago.

The student wrote: "If you cannot believe the president, who can you believe?"

The words, read by Hyde in 1999, clearly echo twenty years later, at a time when President Trump's unbelievable claims cause confusion and frustration....

As many times as you visit this site and comment, why not share what your beliefs are apart from what appears to be underlying hate of Christians?

Have you read the bible or any parts thereof, or have you taken the word of another and made them your own?

I would invite you to read for yourself as this verse says...taste and see.

Psalm 34:8 O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

Overtime you just may see that...

Rom 10:17 Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.

and you will see that...

John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

You haven't seemed peaceful through reading your posts and because of that I feel sorry for you and will keep you in my prayers.

Trump’s pay-for-play phone call with the president of Ukraine, revealed earlier this fall, changed the House speaker’s long-standing reluctance to embrace impeachment almost overnight. As recently as the spring, Pelosi was frank in outlining the apparently no-win situation that she and the Democrats now face. “I’m not for impeachment,” the speaker told The Washington Post Magazine then. “Impeachment is so divisive to the country that unless there’s something so compelling and overwhelming and bipartisan, I don’t think we should go down that path, because it divides the country. And he’s just not worth it.” Asked by Tapper if she had failed her own test, Pelosi replied that it was Republicans who had failed to uphold their oath of office to support and defend the Constitution....

Pff, Nancy knows very well that the Republican Senate won't impeach Trump, but at least the House will have done their duty, so she won't have a guilty conscience from that❗

I think Satan is an equal opportunity employer, and he certainly has plenty of Republicans in his employ also

1 Timothy 1:8-10
But we know that the law is good if a person uses it lawfully, as knowing this, that law is not made for a righteous person, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, for the sexually immoral, for homosexuals, for slave-traders, for liars, for perjurers, and for any other thing contrary to the sound doctrine,

The LORD does not listen to all prayers especially that of people with evil intent in their heart.
Democrats murder the unborn child and uphold and vindicate the abomination, thereby they defile the land.

Jer 7:16 Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me: for I will not hear thee."

Jer 11:14 Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up a cry or prayer for them: for I will not hear them in the time that they cry unto me for their trouble."

Jer 14:11 Then said the LORD unto me, Pray not for this people for their good. 12 When they fast, I will not hear their cry; and when they offer burnt offering and an oblation, I will not accept them: but I will consume them by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence."

Nancy Pelosi is a typical political catholic. She does what satan wants her to do and thinks she is serving Christ. But, most don’t realize that she and most other politicians actually believe what they are saying.

Anyway, in the end the following will happen. Instead of the usage of synagogue think of the body of Christ.

John 16:2 They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.

Matthew 24:9 Then they will deliver you over to be persecuted and killed, and you will be hated by all nations on account of My name.

From the news:
“In signing the Declaration of Independence, our Founders invoked a firm reliance on Divine Providence,” she said. “Democrats too are prayerful and we will proceed in a manner worthy of our oath of office to support and defend the Constitution of the United States from all enemies foreign and domestic. So help us, God."

I wonder how that sounded when she said it, what with her tongue firmly planted in her cheek.
