Notre Dame Students Call for the Removal of White Authors from Curriculum
Student activists at the University of Notre Dame are calling for the removal of white authors from the university curriculum to ‚Äúdecolonize‚ÄĚ the university. According to the students, ‚Äúdiversifying the canon helps eliminate the violence of only privileging white scholarship.‚ÄĚ
According to a report by The College Fix, a student activist group at the University of Notre Dame called ‚ÄúEnd Hate at ND‚ÄĚ is demanding that the university drastically rewrite course curriculum because they believe it currently features too many works by white authors.
The student activist group published a list of demands to their Instagram page. The students demanded that the curriculum be revised so that the works of minority authors account for at least 50 percent of required readings....
All liberal Catholics should be told to either fall in line with Catholic teaching and be against abortion, homosexuality(and other perversions associated with homosexuality) and every other perversion under the sun or be excommunicated from the Catholic Church.
Catholic universities aside, these students are brain-washed and racist themselves. Demanding that 50% of required readings in curriculum be minority authors is arbitrary nonsense. And it is naive to think that demanding this will improve student outcomes, especially when you here the blatant racial bias against Whites by the many minority commentators in the media and podcasts. Instead of a racial Fahrenheit 451 against White authors professors should be mindful to emphasize what is common in all of humanity. To see the absurdity of these students' demands they should encourage the same thing happen in the universities in Nigeria, Ethiopia, Kenya, and Congo.
The Catholic Church has a long, mixed history on racism. I assume these students are trying to do something about it. Reverse racism may not be the cure though ‚ĚóūüĎé

It should give Catholics something to think about anyway.
