New York law forces pro-life groups to hire people who support abortion
Pro-life groups and a church have filed a lawsuit against New York for a newly signed state law that they argue forces them to hire people who support abortion.
Last week, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo signed Senate Bill 660, which prohibits employment discrimination on the basis of a personâs reproductive healthcare decisions.
Among its provisions, the new law forbids employers from requiring employees to sign a document that âpurports to deny an employee the right to make their own reproductive health care decisionsâ and denies them access to an employeeâs reproductive health history....

Ephesians 6 gives some solid advice for dealing with bosses, and our witness can come thru various forms including just doing a good job when others aren't so anxious to get it right. Yes, the Lord knows each and every thought and intent we have and we will never fool Him.
He knows when our love for our wives and children come before Him and cause us to sin and he knows when our careers come first.
IOW, He knows our hearts and that is an immense comfort to me.

When I was young, I always kept a bible on my desk at work. I looked for and took every opportunity to witness to someone and even when it started to become unpopular I refused to stop. But, in todayâs business climate I have no doubt that I would have been fired.
I often wonder whether or not I would have been as strong, if my financial future had depended on me towing the line and denying my Lord and Savior. He knows! I will never know and as I get closer to the end, I simply thank my Lord and Savior for the grace He gave me.
I often think of the martyrs during the inquisition. They were hanging on a stake and being set on fire. Iâm sure they were looking out at their wives and children who would then be on their own.
Praise God for the strength He gave them.
