Teachers Union Uses Quarterly Journal to Advance Leftist Dogma
The American Federation of Teachers (AFT), the nation’s second largest teachers’ union, makes no effort to disguise its anti-Trump agenda in the fall issue of its quarterly journal, American Educator. The issue asks instructors to be mindful of both implicit and explicit bias under the Trump administration and to combat said bias with safe spaces and identity politics. In fact, the entire issue reads like a campaign to perpetuate leftist dogma in schools, as if it’s not already the predominant ideology in the public school system.
AFT President Randi Weingarten sets the stage for these themes in the issue‚Äôs opening essay, ‚ÄúA Defining Moment for Democracy.‚ÄĚ There, she claims President Trump has ‚Äútrampled rights enshrined in the Constitution,‚ÄĚ ‚Äúwaged a war on truth,‚ÄĚ and ‚Äúfanned biases that aim to dehumanize ‚Äėthe other‚Äô and that erode our democracy.‚ÄĚ

What on earth does Lefty Marxist Liberalists know about Democracy???
Or should it read... De-'Mock'-Racy?
Education today is indoctrination rather than the 3xR's.
Despotic Liberalism spreads like a plague among all the bureaucrats of western society. ________
Interesting Quote = "Reason has been tossed aside because the masses ‚Äď encouraged by amoral rabble-rousers ‚Äď have been allowed to vent their ignorant passions. It is not hard to detect the reek of class hatred in this ruling liberal narrative. But there is something more powerful here than mere snobbery: the belief that politics can be governed by formulas derived from some large theory. In the past, such theories were derived from Marxism and positivism, utilitarianism and Fabianism, among other ideologies. Today they emanate from the prevailing variety of rights-based liberalism promoted by philosophers such as John Rawls and Ronald Dworkin. The key feature of this liberalism is that it transfers decision-making from political to judicial institutions. Liberals are turning to law to entrench values and policies for which they cannot secure democratic assent." (newstatesman.com)
