'Not afraid of burning in hell': Ron Reagan atheist ad airs in Dem debate
The "highlight" of Tuesday night's debate among Democrats running for president was something that was not said on the stage, but came during a commercial break, according to radio host Rush Limbaugh.

It was an advertisement promoting atheism, featuring none other than Ron Reagan, a non-believer in God who says he's "not afraid to burn in hell" during his pitch for the Freedom From Religion Foundation.

Sin. Contrary to God.

"Sin is contrary to all the names and attributes of God. It sets itself in
opposition to them all.
(1) It deposes the sovereignty of God as much as in it lies. It will not that the King of kings should be on the throne, and govern this world which he has made.

(2) It denies God’s all-sufficiency. As if there were not contentment and satisfaction enough to be had in the enjoyment of God, but that vanity and wickedness had more of pleasure and profit than he, whose ways are
all pleasantness, and whose service is the health of man!

(3) It challenges the justice of God, and dares God to do his worst (Malachi 2.17). It provokes the Lord to jealousy, and tempts him to wrath.

(4) It disowns his omniscience. Pooh! they say, God does not see, nor does the most High regard.

(5) It despises the riches of God’s goodness (Romans 2.4).

(6) It turns his grace into wantonness (Jude 4) It will make bold with God, and sin because grace abounds.

In short, sin is the dare of God’s justice, the rape of his mercy, the jeer of his patience, the slight of his power, the contempt of his love, as one writer prettily expresses this ugly thing."
(Sinfulness of Sin) (R.Venning)

= ? When man is contrary to God?

“ where,
Their worm does not die, And the fire is not quenched “- Mark 9:44.
The torture of a soul, Mr. Reagan, your arrogance is your fate. Repent or burn.

Good afternoon Pilgrim!
Thanks for your comments and thoughts on this subject. I don't normally write on this, but the terror the unsaved will experience when they see their fate is something that is incomprehensible.
Proverbs 29:1 He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.
Frank, it is a good word incomprehensible, for those things which are coming on this world because of sin. We can glimpse them in scripture, but the just wrath of an omnipotent God will never be understood fully until it is seen and felt.

I will praise God daily for his most remarkable and amazing grace, and for his deliverance from the wrath to come.

A penalty was paid and pardon bought
And sinners lost at last to him were brought

I love to read anything "gospel" bro. Thank you. The wrath of God is a dreadful thing, frightening, eternal to the unrepentant. Outer darkness, weeping and gnashing of teeth, "tormented in this flame". Luke 16:24. It will all happen one day, after the great day of judgment.
Meantime, the gospel bells are sounding, as you mentioned, "the mercy and sacrifice of our Lord and Saviour" who is "not willing that any should perish, but that all come to repentance".

Thomas Watson;Eternity to the godly is a day that has no sunset; eternity to the wicked is a night that has no sunrise.

Let them fear death who don’t fear sin.

Pro 1:7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom & instruction.

If a wicked man seems to have peace at death, it is not from the knowledge of his happiness, but from the ignorance of his danger.

""You want to reach a bunch of people that don’t like God, don’t like religion, and have no fear of hell because they don't think it exists and so they don't mind burning there?""

"people that *don't* like God"
IE: *don't* believe in God.

The problem with these folks when they say this is the word - "don't" -
They think its a human action!!

The truth which they cannot know, is that the correct statement about their situation is -
'They *can't* know or believe in God.

To believe in God - God must make the first move by revelation.
Until then they are blind - ignorant and alienated from God; - Not to mention at 'enmity' with God.

As for 'hell' they wouldn't know what the precise detail of that experience is from a card board cut out of a giraffe.

The atheist:-
Eph 4:18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: 19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness."

And...
Rom 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be."

So the poor old atheist is just a simple ignorant reprobate going to hell.

Psalms 73:16 When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me; 17 Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end. 18 Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction. 19 How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors. 20 As a dream when one awaketh; so, O Lord, when thou awakest, thou shalt despise their image. 21Thus my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins. 22 So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before thee.

I have heard this from professing atheists before. Since God doesn’t strike them dead, then they somehow think that God doesn’t exist or something along those lines.

But, unless they repent and trust solely in the mercy and sacrifice of our Lord and Savior, they are going to experience the wrath of almighty God.

Psalms 14:14 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

I agree with Dr Tim.

Hell is not a vacation destination.

Let’s pray for all the unsaved, even mr. Reagan.

I too was an atheist, saved by grace.

Unless he repents, Mr. Reagan will experience uncontrollable terror less than a second after he lands in hell. But God may save him yet. I, too, was an atheist before God showed me His power, righteousness and grace.
