The Rev. Franklin Graham said it's time for President Donald Trump's foes to "give it a rest" following new impeachment demands in relation to the chief executive's discussion of Democratic presidential candidate and former Vice President Joe Biden with the leader of Ukraine in July.
"I wish President @realDonaldTrumpâs enemies would give it a rest," Graham tweeted on Monday.
"For 2 years all the American people heard was collusion. Not true. Then accusations seemed to come out of the woodwork by various women. Then all we heard was impeachment. Now itâs a whistleblower claim," he added....

This past Sunday at my Baptist Church the sermon given by Pastor Steve was titled "The Touch(Part 1)" from Mark 5:21-43. It was about how Jesus ministered to the outcasts. And about how that woman was healed by touching Jesus garment.

No one appears more frequently in Franklin Grahamâs crosshairs, however, than Barack Obama. Graham sang alongside Donald Trump in the âbirtherâ chorus during the presidentâs first term, and despite Obamaâs frequent and eloquent references to his Christian faith, Graham persists in characterizing the president as a Muslim...

DF, just so you won't be so anxious about the link you can easily even search it out about a by Googling it if not clicking the above But you should see that it is quite a viable link--from a conservative source â
Actually it just sort of popped out there, Timothy, yes, I was looking for was an easy one to find on Frankie Graham. Who knows? I might have found it before but I'm almost certain I never used that particular quotation from it. I would suggest you read the whole article it isn't that long. in fact the way he handled the subject matter and the person that was the topic of it I wish it were longer.
sorry, "Jimbo' but my internet adviser tells me to never never never click on anyone's links, no matter who sends them to me or where i find them. even if i played whist with you every thursday evening, and you sent me an email on friday, i would not open it. i would print it, bring it to our next meeting, and ask you..did you send this to me? on david french..best to say he is no conservative. i do not trust him. he adopted a child from another continent when there are plenty of foster children he could have helped out instead (so he only did it to 'shine his buttons') also, don't you think we are tired of seeing you post other people's comments? don't you think it's high time for us to hear what you think? if i want to hear what others think, i would go to their website. but you? how can i find what you think? what website do you operate? (maybe you should get one, i think they are called 'blogs')
I ran across an interesting article about Franklin Graham. This short article from the national review says all that is necessary about him
David French wrote: .... ...Evangelicals can never take a purely transactional approach to politics. We are never divorced from our transcendent purpose, which always trumps political expediency. In scripture, prophets confronted leaders about their sin. They understood a core truth, one clearly articulated in the Southern Baptist Conventionâs 1998 Resolution on Moral Character of Public Officials: âTolerance of serious wrong by leaders sears the conscience of the culture, spawns unrestrained immorality and lawlessness in the society, and surely results in Godâs judgment.â
All too many of our nationâs Evangelical leaders havenât just âtoleratedâ serious wrongdoing by Trump, theyâve rationalized and minimized it. Some have even given the âthumbs upâ in front of a Playboy cover....In so doing, theyâve seared the consciences of the culture and the church, and granted their secular opponents all the ammunition necessary to question our sincerity as believers....

In the phone call, Trump seemed to blur a line between the national interest and his own electoral advantage. Asking a foreign leader for dirt on his political rival might be deserving of censure and possibly impeachment.
2. And legally, the rule of law demands it

Jim, first read Christopher's post. He nailed it. But it will be interesting to watch the Dems, who hate the Constitution, try to use it against Trump, while searching for ignorant or corrupt judges to help. Funny, isn't it, considering they are ever trying to dismantle the inconvenient parts, like the 1st, 2nd, and 10th amendments? And Pelosi, while announcing her hypocrisy, stands in front of a wall of American flags. Yawn.
Jim, didnât you put up a post the other day that said innocent until proven guilty? Or was that some other Jim Lincoln from Nebraska? Christopher often mentions the hypocrisy of liberals. You are a perfect example.
They're all the largest group of hipocrites that I've ever seen, and their puppets, mainstream media, ought to be ashamed of themselves for their extreme bias, half truths, and outrageous lies, as puppets for the liberal party agendas. Do as we say, not as we do, should be their motto.

For James Madison it was "incapacity, negligence or perfidy".
The official purpose, as spelled out in the US Constitution, is to remove the president from office if he has committed "treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanours".
It is that second word, bribery, that House Democrats will likely use a lot in the foreseeable future....

The Dems know they can't beat Trump in the marketplace of ideas. They have no plans, no ideas other than theft from some to feed the greed of others. Pandering to the lowest common denominator won't get enough votes to win, and they know it. Their fear-mongering won't do it. Their whining won't do it. Getting the right to vote for criminals and illegals won't do it. Supporting every kook philosophy and lifestyle won't do it. They are forced to attack Trump personally. Make lots of noise like angry kindergarteners, and hope something, anything sticks. The impeachment drivel is just the latest.
Not really, Lurker. Even if the House comes up with articles of impeachment, the Republican Senate won't do anything with them. It won't do Biden too much good, since his kid was still messing around in Ukrainian business practices.

Many Democrats say even if Trump did not carry out an explicit quid pro quo concerning the aid to Ukraine, his request that a foreign government conduct a probe that could help his reelection chances is grounds for impeachment by itself. They also maintain the Trump administration is in violation of whistleblower law, which requires the complaint to be transmitted to Congress....
I think an impeachment inquiry is a great idea. Letâs start by impeaching all of the activist judges who ignore the Constitution, and then we can move over to the America-hating turncoats in the House. Let âer rip!
