Pope says US critics use ‘rigid’ ideology’ to mask failings
Pope Francis said Tuesday he wasn’t afraid of a U.S. Catholic Church schism led by his conservative critics, but sees a “rigid” ideology opponents use to mask their own moral failings has already infiltrated the American church.

Francis said during an airborne news conference that he prays a schism in the U.S. Catholic Church doesn’t happen. He nevertheless doubled down on confronting outspoken conservatives in the U.S. and beyond who oppose his outreach to gay and divorced people and his concern for the poor and the environment.

Francis said he welcomed “loyal” criticism that leads to introspection and dialogue. Such “constructive” criticism shows a love for the church, he said. But he ideologically driven critics don’t really want a response but merely to “throw stones and then hide their hand.” ...

Are Jesuits not rigid? And how different are they from critics? I mean, he’s called the pope. Does anyone in the Catholic Church not do what he says, never mind, oh silly question.

The "rigid ideology" of the papal antichrist and his Vatican has always been used by these heretics to blind the RCC from the Biblical doctrines and truth.

Matthew 24:5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

Matt 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

Matt 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

2Thess 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;"
:v11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
:v12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness."

You mean to say the Roman Catholic Church does not have a rigid ideology? Or does the Pope let slide the application of such biblical commandments against sodomites, which would mean many priests, monks, nuns, etc. would lose their jobs.
Everyone should realize that much of the abuse by those people was done by males on boys, though the news media, so friendly to the sodomite cause, does not want to point that out.
