Dayton Shooting: Suspect and 9 dead, 26 wounded
There have been 26 people wounded or injured in the shooting carried out wearing body armor, Dayton Mayor Nan Whaley said.

The shooter, who has not been identified, used a .223-caliber high-capacity magazine rifle and was wearing a mask or covering over his face.

“If the Dayton police had not gotten to the shooter in under a minute, hundreds of people in the Oregon District would be dead today,” Whaley said.

"...People say that they want a solution but totally reject the One who is."

Good morning, SC. Sobering and true, and that really is the bottomline, isn't it?

Now, while in this physical reality, we do need real-world solutions that mankind is tasked to, and has a responsibility to resolve. Although, the political machine rarely resolves much of anything, because for most, it's about agenda, and nothing more.

I won't continue rambling, but I get your drift, and it's right on. Christ is, and always has been the solution, ultimately, but He always seems to be hidden away in the shadows, and only called upon for assistance when it selfishly suits some fleeting need. Then, He gets boxed up and stored away again for the next time.

Yep, Christ is THE answer, but He's the priority for few.

Very early, hope I've made some sort of sense...

There is much awry in all of this and much irony as well.
Those who are all about love in Dayton hating political opponents.
A bartender who actually did something heroic, not realizing his contribution as a bartender as contributing to those who are in sin.
The victims, who we,of course, mourn for and to which we extend our sympathies...
but who are being heralded as heroes.
A half million dollars is being raised for the survivors and the bar district where this took place.
What took place is tragic but what is also tragic is the take away in all of this.
People are going to Hell and living in their own reality...blinded.
Instead of being impressed by political figures to chime in or to offer support, they need to know Jesus.
People say that they want a solution but totally reject the One who is.

The left is a bit quiet as to the background of the Dayton killer.

Elizabeth Warren and the DNC are fundraising off the backs of the Dayton and El Paso shootings. Hardly surprising, and there's no doubt in my mind that the concern, the sympathy, and the outrage being expressed by the liberals over the airwaves, is superficial only, and I believe that just below the surface, they're gleeful for the fresh opportunity they've been given to attack, and fuel the outrage with even more outrageous lies, as they froth at the mouth to regain power in 2020, by any means necessary; regardless of the collateral damage left in their diabolical wake of wickedness.

The way they've always used selective tragedy for personal, and party gain is disturbing, and clear to see. They completely ignore, and/or dismiss anything and everything that would focus any attention upon their own selves/party, while railing on conservatives for the very same things they selectively dismiss, and then, all of a sudden, they care so much about a situation when it can be used to cause harm to those they hate.

All three gentlemen criticized the problem of White Racism, Mike, et al👎

Who is Obama rebuking? No one did more to harm the cause of racial unity more than Barack Obama, with his constant promotion of victim mentality. ("If I had a son, he would look like Treyvon.., etc." As for his ability to handle the English language well, you are quite right. His problem is in the handling of truth. But that was mostly ignored because to criticize his deceptions was also called racism. (besides, we shouldn't criticize sitting presidents, right?) His followers were and are those who prefer a smooth lie to a rough truth.

Btw, the victims in this Dayton shooting were black and white, men and women. But then the facts of evil don't apply to the leftist political agenda of never letting a tragedy go to waste, right, Jim?

Any Democrat spewing sympathetic nonsense, as if they care about anyone, and also trying to pin what they, themselves created, on any one man, or conservatives, as a whole, is beyond disgusting. A diabolical bunch of criminals, and a level of hipocrisy like I've never, ever seen before.

I think the most difficult thing for me is that they have so many Americans, completely fooled, and believing everything that comes out from their mouths. Every lie, and every bit of contorted mis-information, is the truth for many Americans, and it's their own wicked agenda that's caused the civil unrest in this country, but conservatives are being accused as being the catalyst for all of the serious damage the liberals have caused, thanks to the left facing media outlets passing the lies along, and creating their own, to boot.

Yesterday, I think it was Mike who said that if nothing else, we can thank Trump for his ability to have been able to force these people to finally expose who, and what they really are, that they've been able to hide for so long. I wonder how many really even care though.

We should soundly reject language coming out of the mouths of any of our leaders that feeds a climate of fear and hatred or normalizes racist sentiments; leaders who demonize those who don't look like us, or suggest that other people, including immigrants, threaten our way of life, or refer to other people as subhuman or imply that America belongs to just one certain type of people,...
"Such language isn't new -- it's been at the root of most human tragedy throughout history, here in America and around the world,"....It has no place in our politics and our public life. And it's time for the overwhelming majority of Americans of goodwill, or every race and faith and political party, to say as much -- clearly and unequivocally....

Chicago? 1517 shot this year through July 27, of which 293 died, vast majority of them black. The vast majority of the perps are also black. Crickets in most media because they can't find a way to blame Trump, white supremacy, white nationalism, or even lack of gun laws. Like you said, liberal hypocrisy. Even that label may be giving them too much credit for understanding enough to be hypocrites. One thing I'm grateful to Trump for is, somehow he got these wacko unthinking leftists to reveal their true ugliness they used to be able to hide better.

In the early 1960s, the Sewerpreme Court essentially ruled that God was no longer welcome in America. In 1973, the Sewerpremes appointed Moloch as our chief god. In 2015, the Supreme Corpse finally made it official, naming Satan as the spiritual head of the country. Looking for psychological and social causes of mass shootings is a waste of time, effort and money. Any nation that insists on serving Satan can only expect Satan to reign. Those of us who are old enough to remember illegal sodomy, illegal abortions and legal Bible reading and prayer in public schools are also old enough to recall when these types of mass murders didn’t take place. It isn’t a problem of gun control. It’s a problem of soul control.

Our nation has failed, Wayfarer.
And there were both light and dark skinned people shot in the Dayton mass murder and so many more who would have been indiscriminately if not for the very prompt response of a few police officers.

Mike, Then Ted Cruz should feel silly too either by accident or design, the greatest number of victims were Black.👎

Well, I would suppose this isn't long for typical articles, it is certainly longer than many Reuters articles are, however. It is well worth reading❗👍

I keep hearing “ there’s nothing we can do”. My feeling is killers will kill. But how one gets a AR with a double drum magazine is only one who intends to kill. I believe we are in a country wide noise riot and domestic terrorism is flourishing.
Everyday we hear of domestic violence, politicians at each other throats, children are stolen and found, worthless people being arrested, and on and on. This overall noise underscores the direct threat that we have enemies who want our nation to fail .
Extreme government actions or rhetoric begots extreme behavior by its citizens .

Well said there, 'Dr. Tim'
Just as an example of what you say: the Virginia Beach shooting in the govt offices was done by a black man, and 9 of his 12 victims were white. This is covered up by most news media who speak of the issue.
The comparison I made earlier between Portland Oregon and Baltimore, Maryland could not be more apt for this time.
Both have had govt control by the Socialist Democrat Party but the racial composition is totally different.
Almost makes you want to flee when someone speaks of 'strength through diversity'
And the issue is not a racial one: just look at the tensions between Japan and South Korea right now. The Japanese consider all other Asian countries to be inferior to them, not only in Gross Domestic Product or level of technological development, but also racially.

Day after day, week after week, month after month and year after year, black men murder far more people than white men, but that doesn’t even make a blip on Jim’s radar. Abortionists murder black babies by the hundreds of thousands, but Jim couldn’t care less. Jim is exactly like the mules I used to see plowing fields: stubborn, balky, and wearing blinders that limit their ability to see the whole picture. And by the way, did I mention that he is a racist?
