Amish Projected To Overtake The Current US Population In 215 Years
The population of the Amish is projected to be greater than the current population of the United States in 215 years if the Amish growth rate, which has held constant for more than 100 years, remains the same.
Over the past 100 years, the Amish population has doubled every 19.63 years on average, according to data from Elizabethtown College.
Due in part to their opposition to modern birth control and the value they place on fertility, the Amish are one of the fastest growing populations in the world. Amish often use modern medicine and visit doctors, but some are hesitant to do so and prefer natural treatments. One study found that the Amish are less likely to seek medical care and more likely to delay care. The combination of natural fertility (fertility in a population that does not control or limit births) and modern health care results in exponential population growth....
Here I come to know the strategy of your professionals that what work they are doing to stop Amish project growth because I am going write a topic in which I want to add this Amish project so first I need to know all about this project.
It would be an improvement compared to where we are presently. I am all for families and life...totally against abortion but I know many Christians who are, and rightfully so, concerned about their children in this country and I understand how many Christians would hesitate to have any more. I can't perceive of this country being around for a couple of hundred years from now. Anyone who is living in reality, knows that these are very sobering times and that we are under judgment.
A lot of things might change in the next couple hundred years--just look back 200 years to see what has changed. This perspective makes Westerns look modern, and World War 1 and 2 to be very modern. In the meantime, Planet Earth could be hit by an asteroid or Global Warming could melt all the ice and flood everything--haven't you noticed that effect when the ice cubes in your iced tea melt? All the ice tea floods out of the glass!
Although it can be difficult for us finite humans to think about anything beyond our own lifetimes, Christ may not return for another 2019 years for all we know. I say we occupy to His glory until He does!
"The population of the Amish is projected to be greater than the current population of the United States in 215 years"... but hopefully the Lord will have returned by then ðŸ˜
If only christians took the command to be fruitful and multiply seriously! After all, why would christian parents not want the opportunity to raise as many children as they can to the glory of God? See Psalm 127. Let the humanists depopulate themselves while we welcome more children. Overpopulation is one of the biggest myths ever conjured up by the modern world. While they do hold to some very shaky theological views, having to share this nation with people as quiet and peaceful as the amish wouldn't bother me at all. Politically speaking they wouldn't change anything because they don't vote or get involved in politics. Let's just hope that the Muslims don't populate enough in this country to start a jihad against the rest of us.

No doubt that's true. Lucky for you, not having to put up with an Amish driven white majority.
I am astounded at this news item and I wonder if the Mainstream Media will pick it up. I doubt it, since it seems to promote the Amish Way of Life. I know little about it, but it does seem to follow the recommendations Paul gives us in his letters to Timothy, especially the first one, chapter 5, where he talks about widows, how they should behave before being put on 'The List' for church aid.

It doesn't seem to be causing difficulties for them.

The powerful example of unconditional forgiveness the Amish showed after the 2006 Amish school shooting was a demonstration of the love and grace of God. The Amish are kind, respectful, hard-working, and God-loving people. At the same time, the legalism and works-based faith that is evident in some Amish communities is not to be followed.
And they don’t have abortions. They help one another and the kindest people I have ever known. I lived in a farming town and before we left they began to buy land down in the Bottoms and farm it. An Amish preacher that moved in from somewhere else early enough to plant crops. They bought our house we had just put up for sale by word of mouth, we had not even put it up for sale sign God does take care of His own. Later they tmoved to the Bottoms where the Church and the school their children attended all attended. Just my thoughts on what I observed personally and not somebody’s link that I don’t even know saying something good or bad.
