Priests accused of sex abuse turned to under-the-radar group
They had been brought to town by a small, nonprofit group called Opus Bono Sacerdotii. For nearly two decades, the group has operated out of a series of unmarked buildings in rural Michigan, providing money, shelter, transport, legal help and other support to hundreds, perhaps thousands, of Catholic priests accused of sexual abuse across the country.

Again and again, Opus Bono has served as a rapid-response team for the accused.

When a serial pedophile was sent to jail for abusing dozens of minors, Opus Bono was there for him, with regular visits and commissary cash.

When a priest admitted sexually assaulting boys under 14, Opus Bono raised funds for his defense. ...

Christopher, This past Sunday at my Baptist Church the sermon given by Associate Pastor Neil(because Pastor Steve is on vacation) was titled "Jehovah Tsidkonu/The Lord Is Our Righteousness" from Jeremiah 23:5-6. It was about that Jesus righteousness defends us and that we can rejoice in salvation as part of God's people and that in Jesus righteousness we are enough.

From the disturbing article:

"And while powerful clerics have publicly pledged to hold the church accountable for the crimes of its clergy and help survivors heal, some of them arranged meetings, offered blessings or quietly sent checks to this organization that provided support to alleged abusers, The Associated Press has found."

"In the years before Perrone helped start Opus Bono, he and Assumption Grotto took in at least two priests who had been accused of sexual misconduct at dioceses in other states.
***One of them later admitted to molesting as many as 50 children in the 1980s and ’90s, according to court documents in Texas."***

***One single Priest.. one***

Sounds to me like Opus Bono is a melting pot, and party house for sodomites, pedophiles, and rapists, who can feed their fantasies, and swap storys, all under one roof(s).

The first paragraph above says that clerics who have publicly sympathized with the victims, at the same time, privately bless, and write checks to the Opus Bono housing.

Disgusting all around.

Hey Carl,

I always think that if someone is a homosexual, then they are also pedophiles who prefer boys.

But, it is also true that someone can be heterosexual and be a pedophile.

Hope things are going well with you and your family!

The RCC knows that this has been going on for centuries, so being an organisation which looks after their reprobate satanic priests is to be taken for granted.
Spreading their idolatrous heresy and building a powerful criminal organisation in every nation they can get into, is all part of Satan's earthly plan.

The RCC and the Vatican is well organised in the world and runs like a religious mafia wherever they can break into.
The mafia is a criminal organisation with international connections and that is exactly the same idea as the RCC has sought to achieve.

With such influence and power they have always looked after their own. As a worldly reprobate organisation they established themselves as a religious but heretical unorthodox church. Pulling in the gullible and ignorant sinners they established themselves as a demi-god outfit with a reworked religious disinformation that seemed Christian to the uninformed. The religious reprobates flocked to the cathedrals believing the religious rhetoric was Biblical, when instead they were being edyfied into a false human piety idolatrous and godless, partially biblical but manipulating them in a partial truth.
Thus typically heretical.

Chris G P,

I agree with your assessment of their defense group. I have always believed that most catholic priests are homosexuals and 99 percent of their church clergy support that abomination. The mere fact that they don’t allow them to marry supports that thought.

The RCC is the perfect place for homosexuals and pedophiles to practice their abominations. They have relations with one another or some child and then simply confess it to each other and then they absolve one another. What a sham. As a child and teenager, I went to lots of confessions.

I read once where future priests are asked if they are homosexuals. If they say yes, then it doesn’t matter as long as they claim they have not practiced if for a specific period of time.

Thanks for your thoughts!

My school Latin is a little rusty, but the name of this nefarious Priest’s defence organisation means ironically “Good Works of Priests”!!!

Doesn’t sound very much like good works to me, to hide paedophiles, and other clerical criminals, and support them in their flight from or in their encounter with justice.

While alert to the fact that occasionally there can be false accusations made, there seems far too many priests and accusations for them all to be false!!

It reminds me of the “”Rat Trail” of notorious ex-Nazi party leaders, SS guards, Gestapo police chiefs and other war criminals to get them out of Germany and other European countries where they were wanted for trial after the 2nd World War, to safe havens and secret refuges, generally in places like South America. The infamous Dr Mengele of the Auschwitz camp was one of these, he was never tried for his crimes and he died in Brazil.

I hope this paedophile supporters organisation has now been completely exposed, and that federal, state and local prosecutors and police will immediately investigate it and root out the priests that they are hiding, or helping.

SA has picked a good exposition piece, and a modern example of the Romish Church protecting miscreants since the WW II (ratlines). Definitely read the SA article. Also food for thought ❗👍

These and other investigations will produce an avalanche of scandal for years to come. As all of this was unfolding, Pope Francis responded with a meek call for a four-day meeting of senior bishops, to be held in Rome under the rubric “The Protection of Minors in the Church.” This was like putting Mafia chieftains in charge of a crime commission....
