Berkeley bans 'male-centric' words
“Manholes” in Berkeley, California, will now be officially called “maintenance holes,” according to a new “inclusive” ordinance eliminating “gender preference language” in its code.

The City Council’s vote Tuesday night also means anything “manmade” will called “artificial” and gendered pronouns such as “he” and “she” will be replaced by “they,” the Washington Times reported.

The bill’s primary author, Berkeley City Council member Rigel Robinson, told CNN it’s “a small move, but it matters.”

“Having a male-centric municipal code is inaccurate and not reflective of our reality,” he said. ...

Probably so, Mike, and I'd add, entitlement. They've talked of reparations for being "enslaved" for so long, and now that they're fully out, loud, proud, and angry, they want their vengeance against everyone who kept them down, and anyone who still wants to suppress their dirty deeds. They got the mainstream media in their corner, liberal Hollywood, the Democratic party, as well as probably the vast majority of Americans, so they have quite the support system to keep going full steam ahead, and that's exactly what they'll be doing.
Really amazing what's been normalized, and so quickly, within our society, along with what society is fighting for on their behalf, all of a sudden.
This past Sunday at my Baptist Church a missionary teach(that my Baptist Church sponsors) that are retiring after serving in Japan and California. The man missionary is an ordained Baptist Pastor. The sermon given by the man was about Psalm 96.

Ah, the chocolate biscuit, a little temptress, full of sugar and calories, designed to kill by stealth, so tasty and desirable but with a sting in its tail. Yes, the US did well to ban imports of the stuff. Before you know it, James, you'll be back to the Emerald Isle to satisfy your new addiction. Then you'll start illegally importing the Chocolate Digestive, reviving contraband techniques using the various hidden coves of the Republic, speedboat to Maryland, then through a network to the whole of the US.

And then behold, I awoke, and it was all a dream.

It may have been Barry's tea. I may have to try some. The chocolate biscuit was first discovered in what would be our convenience store but with fresh baked goods served as if it were a bakery. Then again in a very small coffee shop.
Thanks for the recommendations.

Hey John,
I'm not too particular on what tea I drink. My wife, however, is a chamomile lavender fan. The best tea we both ever had the chance to drink was found during a trip we took to Ireland last year. The flavor was rich with no signs of artificial flavor that tends to jade the mass produced ones.
Yes, the schedule has been pretty busy here as of late.

When it comes to tea, I drink a rather special brand, and I would be interested in what you yourself drink. I discovered in recent years (or I should say I was told) that both tea and coffee contained caffeine which is not a good thing. But that there was an alternative, and this was caffeine free by nature. It is a tea made from the Rooibos Bush, and is healthier. I have it together with Soya milk and no sugar. It is possible to get used to that, and I have been drinking it for many years now. Unfortunately, both are more expensive than ordinary tea or milk, but what price health?

"not reflective of our reality."

That's it in a nutshell. That is their reality. And they insist upon imposing their reality on others until they come in line with theirs or they are labeled haters. Drink their tea or else.

If it weren’t for the billions in revenue from high tech companies, the entertainment industry the armed services , the continued inflow of population and the list would go on, this state would look like Detroit City with the high taxes, incomplete infrastructure, tyrannical rules, failed schools, cities and draconian regulations, freedom killing laws.

Well, turns out they wanted just a little bit more, and had quite the diabolical agenda in mind, which we're seeing the fruits of today.
Society has not only done a complete 180°, but now fights for each and every perversion they've demanded, even when it means victimizing it's own children. Sodomite and lesbian couples can even foster, and adopt children, exposing them to abuse, and indoctrination into their lifestyles of choice, and progressively liberal, hate-filled mindsets. Poor kids.

Crazy to be witnesses to how far and wide the sodomite infection has spread, and it's still steamrolling along, and quite frankly, it's picking up speed. Going back in our time machine, to just shy of 4yrs ago, a certain President at the time, Barach Hussein OBama, sits at his desk, and with his left hand, scrawled his name onto a piece of paper, which forever gave the sodomites and lesbians the green light to marry each other. "We just want to be accepted", they said. "We just want to be able to love whom we love without fear", they claimed. Well, turns out they wanted just a little bit more, and had quite the diabolical agenda in mind, which we're seeing the fruits of today.

Now, Dr. Tim. I can attest to there being many men in California. We even were long term visitors in an IFB church there and encountered real street preaching in Berkley. Tyranny is the call of the day in California. And anyone - man, woman, or child - who dares stand against the juggernaut of oppressive "liberation" will be crushed.

"Maintenance holes" lacks respect. Maybe "personholes" would have been a better choice. That way, manholes of the other gender or genders would not be offended by racist, misogynist, and otherwise phobic designations. Maybe the personholes should decide for themselves their gender. Just because they were born manholes doesn't mean they have to remain manholes. Some gender re-assignment surgery should be considered, and the cost covered by government health care.
