'Deeply sad day' after vote in Westminster on abortion and same-sex marriage in Northern Ireland
Westminster MPs have been accused of putting "personal agendas ahead of the people" by voting overwhelmingly in favour of amendments to liberalise abortion and gay marriage laws in Northern Ireland in the event that devolution is not restored.
Peter Lynas, director of the Evangelical Alliance Northern Ireland, said it was a "deeply sad day" for Northern Ireland after the vote in the House of Commons on Tuesday night.
The Commons voted 383 to 73 to extend same-sex marriage to the region, and 332 to 99 to give it the same abortion access as the rest of the UK.
The votes were held as Stormont remains suspended, as it has been since January 2017 due to political deadlock....
If I recall the reasons for declaring the United States as a nation independent from GB, one of them had to do with the power of Parlament and the Crown to impose whatever kind of rules they so chose without regard tomthe people living here. There was great concern that the Church of England could be imposed as the official church based on how Quebec was handled after the Seven Years War, for instance, in which RC was codified as the official religion there. 243 years later...not much change.

No!! It's 'sodomite agenda'
The Westminster politicians are just a bunch of morally corrupt reprobates obedient to Satan.
There is no effective ethical administration in Britain.
Unfortunately this is a tenderising of Northern Ireland for eventual reunion with the Republic of Ireland, and of course the EU and the eurozone. The Republic of Ireland recently overthrew their own Constitution and accepted “gay” marriage and abortion.
The British Government in Westminster, of whatever political colour, is never going to allow a normal free election in Northern Ireland, but insists that there must be a coalition of the two opposite parties of the principally and generally anti-EU right wing Protestant Democratic Unionist Party (wishes N Ireland to remain part of Britain) and the mainly nominally Catholic and pro-EU left wing Republican Sinn Fein (wishes N Ireland to be absorbed by the Republic of Ireland).
To force “gay” marriage and abortion on N Ireland in the absence of a properly devolved Assembly or Parliament and Government and without the agreement of the people of the province is absolutely disgraceful and undemocratic.
In Britain we may or may not crash out of the EU, or may end up as a kind of lesser or “associate” member of it, but we may well lose N Ireland, and maybe even Scotland over it. Perhaps a judgment from the Lord!!!
There will be many more equally sad days, and much more sad days, for NI and the rest of the world, in the coming days. They will increase in sadness, and they will increase in number, right up to the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
But in the midst of this, there is some very good news for all men. We are living currently in what is called the day of grace. It is a day when the gospel of God's Son is to be preached to everyone, all over the world; literally everyone, not one left out.
Jesus, known in scripture as The Saviour of the World, is both able and willing to receive all sinners who come to him in penitence and faith; and with much humility, they are to pray this prayer: "God, be merciful to me, a sinner." Straight away, they are justified and on their way to heaven. And all the angels in heaven are rejoicing when they see such things happening upon the earth, and they exalt the Lord God Almighty, who brings these sort of things to pass in his sovereign will and purpose, having sent his Son into the world to save sinners, and Christ Jesus having come into the world to save sinners. He was even given the name Jesus, because he would save his people from their sins.

This is what it is made to look like but there are other manipulating issues behind scenes creating such conditions
