Alaska Gov. Slashes Court’s Budget by $334,700 after Pro-Abortion Funding Decision
The pro-life governor of Alaska has found a creative way to pay for court-mandated abortion funding: take it out of the judicial branch’s budget.

Alaska Gov. Michael J. Dunleavy, a Republican, issued a line-item veto Friday removing $334,700 from the budget of the Alaska Supreme Court and the state appeals courts – four months after the Alaska Supreme Court ruled the state could not prohibit taxpayer funding of abortion.

“The Legislative and Executive Branch are opposed to State-funded elective abortions; the only branch of government that insists on State-funded elective abortions is the Supreme Court,” Dunleavy wrote in a veto message. “The annual cost of elective abortions is reflected by this reduction.” ...

The majority never has and never will determine morality. God does. All the majority can do is either adhere to morality or rebel against it. In many cases, the Republicans rebel against it. With no exceptions whatsoever, the Democrats oppose every form of morality. The Republican Party is not, despite John Yurich’s protestations to the contrary, “the party of Jesus Christ,” but the Democratic Party is most definitely the party of Satan.

There is nothing in the Constitution that supports a democracy. You need de-programming, Jim.

“White” Muslims, Jim? The only people who bring race into every discussion are racists. What does that make you?

The simple matter is that in a democracy the majority determines the morality. There is nothing in the New Testament that supports a theocracy The idea of being zealot should be abhorrent to any Christian! it doesn't seem to be to Trump supporters.

We don't need White Muslims. If you don't like the populace behavior try converting them to Christianity!

BDM wrote:
Generally, Reconstructionism seeks to replace democracy with a theocratic elite that would govern by imposing their interpretation of "Biblical Law." Reconstructionism would eliminate not only democracy but many of its manifestations, such as labor unions, civil rights laws, and public schools. Insufficiently Christian men would be denied citizenship, perhaps executed. So severe is this theocracy that it would extend capital punishment beyond such crimes as kidnapping, rape, and murder to include, among other things, blasphemy, heresy, adultery, and homosexuality ("Christian Reconstructionism: Theocratic Dominionism Gains Influence: Part 1 -- Overview and Roots," by Frederick Clarkson, 3/94 The Public Eye).

Jim's whole "Dominionism" thing is a huge smoke screen to keep from having to explain why he would support liberal/progressive agendas. As Dr. Tim said, ”If you don’t want Jehovah to be the God of this nation, then who DO you want?" Everyone is going to serve one or another. It might be the devil or it might be the Lord. But everyone's gonna serve somebody.

It seems that the Jim’s view is practically replacement Theology where the govment replaces God with health care, and their sacrament is abortion and totalitarianism.

Jim, I don’t care what BDM, or BHO, or AOC, or EIEIO have to say. Let us hear what GOD says: “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD.” If you don’t want Jehovah to be the God of this nation, then who DO you want?

BDM wrote:
- The concepts of the United States as a chosen country or a "Christian nation" is a basic teaching of the "Dominionist"... movements. There is a form of elitism among these groups, because they see themselves as the heirs to all the promises made to Israel. In the book of Romans, it is clear that the Gentiles (us) were made partakers of Israel's spiritual promises -- not the land (cf. Rom. 15:27; Acts 13). When you combine the concept of a "Chosen Christian America" and the "Chosen Church," this results in "superior people" mentality, and this combination becomes political action. The "Chosen Church" merges their identities and ideas with political action leaders, who are skilled in whipping up group passions and fears to form the political army. [ ]

The rallying cry used to evoke emotional involvement is: "We must return America to the values and lifestyles upon which it was founded"; this stirs the passions of the "Chosen Church" into action, resulting in the Gospel of moralism and an alliance with cultic religions based upon issues, not doctrine. Misled Christians see their patriotic and religious duty as a mandate to change society,...

Perfectly Awesome!!!

To Jim Lincoln's larger point on Dominionism: You can't really say that Christ is Lord of your life if you stick Him in your back pocket whenever you enter the public square. That means He should be Lord of your actions at work, home, and the ballot box! And if you happen to hold some form of public office then certainly defending the innocent from such blatent injustice should be your first priority as "a minister of God"!

QC, you always thought those huge pulpits the IFB churches have were simply to support the weight of those huge, pulpit King James Bibles, didn't you? Man, you should see what they keep inside those things in case there's any trouble.

Of course my previous comments were tongue-in-cheek, QC, and intended to highlight the wickedness and hypocrisy of those who would protest the unjustified killing of innocent adults and yet lend their wholehearted support to the murder of innocent little babies. “His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate.”

While I certainly agree that "fair" is not a concept that is often repatable in this broken, fallen world, too many have been murdered already. It has always proven true that two wrongs do not make a right. Therefore, I utterly oppose murdering anyone...liberal or unborn baby. The former needs our prayers and the offer of Jesus. The latter needs our prayers and the offer of Jesus. While the former may infuriate over the destruction of the latter, there is such a thing as justice. And justice will come.

I move that for every baby that is aborted, one liberal be summarily executed. After all, if murdering someone who has never done anything is okay, then surely it must be acceptable to put to death people who have done plenty. Don’t worry about little details like charges, trials, sentencing, etc. The babies don’t get any of these. Start with Jim Lincoln. Who cares if he dies? After all, we’re not pro-life. We’re just anti-abortion. You say, “What you’re proposing isn’t fair!” Too bad. What does fairness have to do with it?

The governor is not pro-life he is at anti-abortion. It is shown by the number of pro-life programs he vetoed funding for❗👎
Jim, no one is fooled by your attempt to pretend to be simply anti-abortion. Anti-abortion really means that at no time is it moral to intentionally target an unborn life for murder. It does not mean, safe, rare and personal or for the so-called life of the mother. Shame on you for your attempt at subterfuge! Here it is again:

"When the life of the mother is truly threatened by her pregnancy, if both lives cannot simultaneously be saved, then saving the mother’s life must be the primary aim. If through our careful treatment of the mother’s illness the pre-born patient inadvertently dies or is injured, this is tragic and, if unintentional, is not unethical and is consistent with the pro-life ethic. But the intentional killing of an unborn baby by abortion is never necessary."

John Arono wrote:
The Alaska Supreme Court has a long history of extremist rulings on abortion,” the ultra-conservative Alaska Family Council’s president, Jim Minnery, gloated in an email to supporters. “But until today, they have never suffered any real consequence for it. Now they will start feeling the pain of their own arrogance.”
“Ultimately, our goal must be to ensure that no agency of state government is paying even one cent to destroy life,” The Alaska Family Council president wrote. “The best way to accomplish this permanently is to amend our constitution to make it abundantly clear there is no right in the state constitution for abortion, or abortion funding.”....

It might be an uphill climb; the most recent polling on the matter was done in 2014, by the Pew Research Center, and 63 percent of Alaskans supported legal abortion “in all/most cases.” But that’s how you do it in Alaska; that’s how you do it in America. There’s existing protocol here, governor. Punitive half-measures are grossly disrespectful and an affront to constitutional republicanism, and that should concern the **** out of all of us....
