President Trump to Address Huge Evangelical Conference Next Week
A senior White House official tells CBN News that President Trump will speak to thousands of conservative Christians next Wednesday, June 26, at the Faith and Freedom Coalition's Road to Majority Conference in Washington, DC.
The plan is for him to speak for roughly 60 minutes, just hours before Democrats begin holding their first debates of the presidential primary season. This will be President Trump's sixth time since 2011 addressing this influential crowd of evangelical political activists. He and the group's chairman Ralph Reed have been friends since 2010. Since that time, Trump has spoken to them twice before he ran for president and twice as a presidential candidate. The last time he addressed the group was as president in 2017....
John of UK, an article from your part of the world, that did not use the word dominionism oh, but that is what many of these people who goes to the religious rallies are actually supporting. 👎

Indeed, it is possible that this association with Trump’s loveless, graceless amoralism could write Christianity out of the public square even faster than the dominance of secularism might on this side of the Atlantic. Where a Christian worldview is dismissed and derided in the UK, association with Trump means many may actively reject it in the US. In fact, the impact of the politicisation of evangelical Christians is not just damaging to Christianity in the US. Churches in Britain have been taking the word “evangelical” out of their name for fear of the association....

Thank you brother, I figured it was something like that, but I never managed to get my head around it. Things like that I tend to leave alone. There are other things I have to leave alone, and there are things I've left alone for decades but which now I am beginning to get light on, and it is always thrilling.
And I'm sure your writing on dominionism would be most helpful; you are muchly gifted in that area, and thusly a blessing to the body of Christ.

We both hold that it would be impossible for a Christian in all conscience to take part in politics, therefore the end result is that all leaders of all countries will be ungodly men of varying degrees of sinfulness. I also think, but know nothing about it, that there is a professing Christian grouping who believe in restoring some sort of theocracy in this world. That doesn't sound right to me, and besides, even though world guvs are by nature ungodly, they have no power except that granted to them by the Lord (as Jesus said).

Frank wrote: Hey Pilgrim! You put this in such a nice way. It really does come down to the lesser of two evils. Example, will someone's policies result in 300,000 babies being murdered and the other 299,999 being murdered. Since most know that old men tend to repeat themselves, (OMI) I will once again say I voted and will vote for Trump again because he panders to Christians. But, he does not confuse me. I am completely unaware of the politics in Wales, but my guess is it is the same everywhere. Have a great day brother!

If only Evangelicals and Trump loved God more than they love the country. Trump will have the evangelical vote because he and others are the lesser of the evils of those who support the murder of babies.

At a rough guess, I would expect him to be speaking on the universality of the gospel, whereby both Jews and non-Jews have the opportunity to respond to God's offer of salvation through Jesus Christ. He may even quote:-
Luke 2:10-11 KJV (10)Â And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. (11)Â For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
