Pope lashes out at blogging ambassadors, demands obedience
Pope Francis has demanded obedience from Vatican ambassadors and reminded them of their duties before him, God and the faithful after years of scandal have tarnished the reputation of the Holy See’s diplomatic corps.
Francis told envoys they may have reservations about papal policy but they don‚Äôt represent themselves and can‚Äôt ‚Äúcriticize the pope behind his back, have blogs or join groups hostile to him.‚ÄĚ
The unusual dressing down came in a speech that was handed out but not spoken on Thursday. It followed several sex scandals among Vatican envoys and explosive claims by the former Vatican ambassador to the U.S. that Francis ignored his 2013 warnings about a cardinal’s sexual encounters with seminarians....
if you look up the etymology of this word you find it was first used in 1603 for the sexual act that is all, no root words where from it was derived, so they took the profane and base and attempted to elevate it to heaven, may God chasten them!

But Francis last month responded for the first time to Vigan√≤‚Äôs letter. The pope said he knew ‚Äúnothing, obviously nothing‚ÄĚ about the misconduct of then-Cardinal Theodore McCarrick and could not remember whether Vigan√≤ had warned him about McCarrick in 2013. Vigan√≤ said he told Francis that McCarrick had ‚Äúcorrupted generations of seminarians and priests.‚ÄĚ
‚ÄúHow could anybody, especially a pope, forget this?‚ÄĚ Vigan√≤ wrote to The Post.
