‘Wow, what is that?’ Navy pilots report unexplained flying objects
The strange objects, one of them like a spinning top moving against the wind, appeared almost daily from the summer of 2014 to March 2015, high in the skies over the East coast. Navy pilots reported to their superiors that the objects had no visible engine or infrared exhaust plumes but that they could reach 30,000 feet and hypersonic speeds.

“These things would be out there all day,” said Lieutenant Ryan Graves, an F/A-18 Super Hornet pilot who has been with the Navy for 10 years and who reported his sightings to the Pentagon and Congress. “Keeping an aircraft in the air requires a significant amount of energy. With the speeds we observed, 12 hours in the air is 11 hours longer than we’d expect.”

In late 2014, a Super Hornet pilot had a near collision with one of the objects, and an official mishap report was filed. Some of the incidents were captured on video, including one taken by a plane’s ...

If you're incorporating green juices into your diet as a means of improving your overall health, blending -- or pureeing -- your vegetables into a smoothie with the help of low-sugar liquids, such as water, juice or milk, may be better options for you. With blending and pureeing, the fiber stays intact. This way, you'll still receive the benefits of feeling fuller longer, which can keep you from consuming more calories in addition to those contained in your green juice.

I explain it by saying that if men fly "around" the world, then the world must be "round". It's obvious, eh?

Hey John, I know you brought this up once before, and I agree, but not in all instances. I'm well aware that I'm not in the habit of naming names, even when my comments might be to a specific person or two. Honestly, I've always assumed that, whoever, would know I was speaking to them in most cases.
Christopher, it is a wrong assumption.

I commend you for taking time out to "drop hints" to certain ones, seeking to drop the temperature, but if those certain ones (myself included) do not "take the hint", then nothing will be achieved.

It is human nature, for sure, that causes one to vainly imagine that, "I'm all right, it's the others. I'm not being argumentative, it's the others. I'm not being nasty, it's the others."

Remember that the prophet tried "dropping a hint" to King David after his abominable actions which resulted in another man's wife becoming pregnant by him, and furthered when he arranged to have the husband killed in war, so that he could increase his collection of wives. But the hint was unheeded; amazing, eh? Until the prophet told him clearly, "Thou art the [guilty] man!"

Hey John, I know you brought this up once before, and I agree, but not in all instances. I'm well aware that I'm not in the habit of naming names, even when my comments might be to a specific person or two. Honestly, I've always assumed that, whoever, would know I was speaking to them in most cases. Other times, I know I can be pretty general, so like you said, the people who should be taking note, might be pointing their fingers at everyone else, so I get that. Mostly though, I think it would be pretty clear who was being spoken to, and in other cases, I wouldn't name names anyway, because it's a, "if the shoe fits", type of comment, as Frank might say. When it comes to the flat Earth topic, it was one of the cases where I thought the who's who was pretty clear.

So, there's my breakdown, as I see it, but I do agree that it can cause confusion at times, because not everyone is as self aware as others (finger pointing).

Watcher, perhaps you could relieve us of some of our ignorance and lift us out of the Dark Ages by addressing the two seemingly very logical objections to a flat earth theory that I presented in my previous post. Of course if you HAVE seen the earth from outer space and can categorically state from empirical observation that it is a disc, please say so and there will be no need for further discussion.

Quite so, Christopher. You are quite right to grumble, but let me show you why your words seem to have no effect.

When a thread goes pear-shaped and you have your grumble about anger and about people not posting with Christian love and grace, nothing changes because you do not direct your message at anyone in particular. And so Fred thinks, "Yep Christopher, Archie needs to heed that!" And Archie is thinking, "Amen Christopher, Stella needs to think about that!" And Stella is thinking, "I'm glad someone has called out Benny and Felicity for being rude!" Benny is thinking, "Good on yer, Christopher, I'm glad someone is taking them to task," and Felicity is thinking, "Amen Christopher, that Thomas needs a good talking to!"

This phenomena happens a lot in church circles, because everyone thinks they are so right, the sermon is for everyone else. Hence, "I'm all right, my worship is good...."

Yeah, the, mature enough, part being added, threw me off a bit, and could have been left out.

So, here's the issue I've always called into question, minus scripture, and minus any "evidences" from both sides, round Earth, and flat Earth: People just love to talk. Fun fact: Most criminals get busted because they've just got to tell someone else a out their crime. So, here's my thing...imagine the sheer number of people, and people from every nationality, across this "Earth", past and present, who were, and, are involved in the most massive cover-up of all-time, and to date, have kept the biggest, wildest, and most fantastical secret ever, but...not a single peep from anyone who would truly know. NASA, satellite and space telescope operators and photographic viewers, astronauts, cosmonauts, space station visitors, space shuttle ride-alongs, foreign, domestic, and private space program employees, foreign and domestic governments, photographic and video editors, and the list goes on and on. The point is that hundreds of thousands of people, over time, and not a single one spilled, wrote a memoir, or went public with a deathbed confession, etc.? Seems inconceivable, given the information that that they all must be/have been bursting to spill. Secrets like that just aren't k

Thanks brother! You know that I have poor comprehension skills, so I never imagined that's what was being said. Thanks for your artistic rendition of the shape of the earth.
I have never assigned a spiritual value to the shape of the earth, but like you and I have said; the bible teaches it and that is the importance.
Getting ready for my afternoon nap.
Amen Frank. Although there is nothing spiritual as you say to the shape of the earth, we do have to evaluate conspiracy theorists, who, to be sincere, must claim that all spacemen who have ever gone up in a rocket are all lying to us. They have been "up there", they have orbited the earth, have seen the shape of planets etc.

Gravity is key to this, IMHO.

If the earth is round, how is it that someone on the other side of the earth is upside down to me? And I am upside down to them? The only explanation is the power of gravity, not that we are all on the same side of a flat disc.
