Future of homeschooling: Less religious, more regulated?
The homeschooling movement in America is experiencing potential changes in its religious makeup and new challenges from government regulation.
Steven Craig Policastro, founder and executive vice president of the International Association for Creation, told The Christian Post that in recent years, the biggest change in state-sponsored resistance to homeschooling has been a âshiftâ from attempts to ban homeschooling to âextremely oppressiveâ regulations.
âOpponents of home education have realized that since they are unable to make homeschooling illegal, they can at least attempt to place extremely burdensome regulations on parent-led, home education to make it difficult or nearly impossible,â said Policastro....
You silly hicks are smarter than this. Bruce was just a click-bait spammer, who, like some others, was just being creative so that his comment with the weblink attached didn't get removed as spam. Type something up that's relative to the threads title, and the post appears legit, and remains intact with the link attached. Silly humans.đ
Which idea do you support, Bruceâthe idea of homeschooling, or the idea of suppressing freedom of religion? The liberal/progressive/socialist agents of Satan and the Antichrist will never rest until they control every single facet of life and obliterate the last vestige of Christianity from the earth. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
The point is well made by the article, though. Homeschool graduates have proven that they can more than hold their own in academic circles and are better adjusted than their more traditional schooled peers. They can also think for themselves, having not necessarily been fed the social justice dogma.
But from the Left's point of view, homeschooled kids need to be liberated from this repressive Christianity to enable them to fully express themselves in whatever way they'd like. And they present an adversary to the Progressive juggernaut.
Education is a key aspect to controlling a population. Homeschoolers even in the most repressive states usually enjoy broad freedom to choose curriculum and social outlets. Cracking down on this to ensure global LGBT indoctrination and other social justice themes will become a very important goal.
