This Christmas Remember — These Companies Fund Planned Parenthood

America’s busiest abortionist, Planned Parenthood performs over 300,000 of the murderous procedures by its own count each year. And right there beside Planned Parenthood are such companies as Starbucks, Allstate, Avon, Kraft, Pepsi, United Airlines, and scores of others helping to pony up over 25 percent of Planned Parenthood’s $1.3 billion in yearly revenue, reported 2ndVote recently.

The conservative group explained that it compiled the list of companies and groups that directly or indirectly support Planned Parenthood “so that you as a consumer can know if your dollars are funding an agenda that violates your pro-life values.”

Among the companies that give money to Planned Parenthood directly, or through their support of third-party pro-abortion groups, are such all-American names as Jell-O, Quaker Oats, John-Deere, Whirlpool, Walmart, Del Monte Foods — the list goes on. Click here to view ...

Frank is on to something. Going after companies while our tax money goes to those people is the real problem. Call the white house and your congressman and ask them to stop funding them. Contact them regularly. If that happens I think there will be a change with the companies. If you want to boycott them you can't really cause they own multiple companies. You would have to be willing to forgo things and do alternative shopping and garden on a huge scale. I do both. I buy a lot second hand, go to small farms for beef, chicken, pork, eggs, and honey. I buy a lot of second hand clothing and other items. I get to meet some great people too. Food tastes way better and is cheaper than the grocery store. Keep praying for abortion to end. The good news is it will if not in this life then when our Lord returns. He will avenge every drop of preborn blood spilt and we shall be comforted and never have to live amongst that scourge any longer.

Indeed. It reminds me of that infamous message sent to headquarters "Shot self in foot six times. Out of bullets. Send more bullets."

Instead of avoiding the companies, what if we engage them? Write letters to management. That kind of approach...

Well said Mr Timothy. It hit the closest to home for Toys-R-Us. They stated that their business is dependent upon high or sustainable birth rates in developed countries - while at the same time forking over the cash to Planned Parenthood. That's what they call shootin' yerself in the foot.

Like I said, I think if we dig deep enough into pretty much any secular companys charitable giving, or donations, etc., we'd find at least something that were not okay with."

Very true...

We live a wicked world. So finding something a company does that's wrong, really means nothing...

I would be more surprised to find a company that DOESN'T do wicked things...

Thanks Frank, and Washington/our government, at federal, and even, state, and local levels, didn't even occur to me. You just proved a point that it really isn't humanly possible to keep our money from getting into the wrong hands, and indirectly/without our knowledge, going to support this and that.

Yes, it all simply proves "there is none good, not one" The Lord works through His children, but the unsaved cannot please Him.

Then there are the intangibles, like loans, mortgages, utilities, and the list goes on. We'd drive ourselves crazy if we were to research every little thing we buy, or service that we need, etc.
I think in most cases, we would find at least one thing that most any company supports that we would disagree with. I decided that I wouldn't support the well-known and obvious, such as Starbucks, and the like, but I got to the point where I knew it just wasn't possible to research every single goods and services company, before buying, retaining, or using, so my position is that, ultimately, what they do with the money I hand over to them is between them and God.

Between the companies that support Islam, homosexuality and Planned Parenthood, what's left? Unless, we as the Christian community start taking care of our own, and setting up a system of sustainability between brothers and sisters, we have no choice but to buy from these stores. My family needs to eat, we need to drive a vehicle, we need a lot of things to exist on a daily basis. What does one do? The only advice for me, as I read in scripture is: follow my conscience.

We can do our due diligence in researching, and do our best not to throw our money at anyone who supports this and that. We can choose not to buy goods, or retain the services of those we find who support immoral things that are in direct conflict with scripture/God's rules, regulations, and laws...sinful things. I guess some of these companies provide essential services which you cannot avoid using.

However, other things are not essential and can be dispensed with, or you can by the products of a competitor that as far as you know does not provide funds to murderous outfits like PP, or openly support “Gay Marriage”, or “Transgender Rights”.

Sometimes sustained organised boycotts by a large number of people might also be productive.

People should follow whatever direction God leads them along these lines and while the goal is admirable, it isn’t very practical. You would need to live in another country because your government supports PP, we wouldn’t see you posting here because not only undoubtedly your internet/cellular provider supports them but so does your utility company that provides the electricity you use to power them. Plus the devices used to access this site more than likely do.

This world is our passage not our portion and the unregenerate will act as such. Our light will shine brighter by the testimony we daily live by God’s grace and the gospel we share than by what companies we avoid. My two cents.

So basically, if we Christians were to boycott all the companies that support PP (or the plethora of other wicked organizations out there), we would have to never buy anything again.
