Most single millennials still want to get married, new research has revealed.
A study by the Church of England’s Life Events team shows that while the marriage rate has declined in recent years, 72 per cent of 18-to-35-year-olds still intend to marry.
More than 1,000 unmarried young people were asked about their plans, with more than one in ten already engaged, and a further six in ten saying they would like to eventually tie the knot.
