Christians in the Philippines suffering new levels of persecution

Christians in the Philippine island of Mindanao are suffering similar levels violence and intimidation as Christians in Iraq, according to a missionary priest.

In an interview with Aid to the Church in Need, Father Sebastiano D'Ambra said he feared growing radicalisation in the Philippines after 14 people were murdered on Christmas Day. In one attack, a grenade was thrown at a chapel.

On Christmas Eve alone, Barnabas Fund reported, nine Christians were murdered as 200 Islamist gunmen raided villages in Mindanao. ...

Why, Mike, thanks for thinking of me of making such accurate statements, but it wasn't me! Other fellows have beat me to it! But since you brought up the topic of ]]http://tinyurl.com/hx9nvba (Roman Catholicism), I will say their priests are like the Pharisees,

Matthew 13: 15 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel across sea and land to make a single proselyte, and when he becomes a proselyte, you make him twice as much a child of hell as yourselves.---ESV

Anyway, from the above commentary an excerpt,

John MacArthur wrote:
In today's spirit of ecumenism, unity with the Catholic Church. Is that possible? Is Roman Catholicism simply another facet of the body of Christ that should be brought into union with its Protestant counterpart? Is Roman Catholicism simply another Christian denomination?

While there are many errors in the teaching of the Catholic Church ... two rise to the forefront and call for special attention: its denial of the doctrine of sola Scriptura and its denial of the biblical teaching on justification....it has set itself apart from the true body of Christ. It is a false and deceptive form of Christianity.

The people in RC religion need the gospel.
But the ecumenism politically correct climate of these days considers it "unloving" to not accept this cult and it's members as "Christians".
Let's not offend
Let's pretend .
As they drop into a Christless eternity.

What is heartbreaking is that false teachers such as this priest in the article are spreading their false blasphemous doctrine throughout these countries and telling these people they are Christians because they worship and eat a flour-god..

Thanks Rodney. Makes me angry whenever I hear foolish comments and logic such as this when is comes to dealing with Islam. They insist that everyone kills them with kindness and the Muslims will be so overtaken when we continue to give them big, hearty bear hugs and bake them cookies as they rape, torture, and murder that their hearts will just melt as they join hands with us and start singing, "We are family", and live happily ever after...

Please. This is pure nonscense and shows such ignorance. Sounds nice and fluffy and it's the same logic this administration and their politically cronies are shouting from their soapboxes, but there is no reasoning with this crew. No chance for diplomacy or winning them over with kindness, smiles, and gifts...they want us dead, the nation under Sharia law, and won't stop until they get their way.
You are right, Chris. Because the Catholics know nothing of the power of God in salvation, this is all they have left. Empty words. Meaningless platitudes. Foolish ideas.

True. But I seriously doubt the Islamists care if they're Roman Catholics or born again Christians, the point being that Islam is an agent of Satan.
Likewise duly noted, a Roman catholic needs to be born again like anyone else. And if that were the case, they will be convicted of the sin of false worship and repent, having only
a heart after Jesus and not doctrines of men.
God bless. :-)
