No Middle Ground on Gay Rights for Conservative Christian Colleges
There is a persistent narrative among secular observers and religious progressives. It goes like this: Now that same-sex marriage is legal nationwide and isn’t hurting anyone, traditional Christians will quickly drop their objections and join the winning side of the most significant quest for justice in our time.Since young evangelicals are more accepting of homosexuality than their elders, perhaps Christian colleges will lead the way.
The reality, however, is the opposite: Evangelical leaders are doubling down on their refusal to affirm same-sex relationships....
