Pope Francis on Thursday launched a blistering attack on the "new colonialism" of austerity, describing unfettered capitalism as “the dung of the devil” and apologising for the Catholic church's role in the conquest of indigenous populations in the Americas.
He delivered a powerful mea culpa on the part of the church in the highlight of his South American pilgrimage, "humbly" begging forgiveness during an encounter in Bolivia with indigenous groups and other activists and in the presence of Bolivia's first-ever indigenous president, Evo Morales.
The first Latin American pope noted that church leaders in the past had acknowledged that "grave sins were committed against the native peoples of America in the name of God." St. John Paul II, for his part, apologized to the continent's indigenous for the "pain and suffering" caused during the 500 years of the church's presence in the Americas during a...
The pope is deceived like anyone else. What the mystery to me is that whether it's him or anyone else with the same knowledge, and especially when maturity and seasoning is added to the mix, I can't understand how it is that anyone remains deceived when God's Word is so crystal clear. I can't understand why anyone in his position and with his knowledge would continue to accept manmade traditions and doctrines which directly contradict God own Word.
Francis is a total nutcase because the Bible sanctions capitalism. That is why the Founding Father's of the United States chose capitalism for the economic system of the United States.

Greed is inevitable in a fallen world, and greed worked well for the Vatican in the Middle Ages, and works well for the current US administration and their DNC allies. Its unfortunate that the movie Wall Street made it appear that only the Right Wing GOP Investing Class are greedy and everyone else is a victim. Truth is EVERYONE is greedy. When your people in the DNC want economic reform, do they vote for tax revenue be dispersed to them, or the more needy in 3rd world nations?

Reformation Nationstates prospered so greatly under the principles that Smith espoused, should we so carelessly refuse to acknowledge that so many evangelical missions shared a deep symbiotic relationship with the unprecedented economic success?

Franny&Smith have a lot in common. Smith was a slave to his writings and Franny is a slave to his apostate church.

Scotland, a country rich in Reformation history, would now rather give worship to men like Scottish historian, philosopher David Hume. His prominent statue is on High Street in Edinburgh Old Town where thousands seek to touch his big brass toe for luck. Ironic tradition considering Hume spent his life arguing against deity and luck.

The purpose of the trip is to shake off the old bones of communism and provide a catholic lense to socialist poverty brought on by the 3 stooges of Latin American communism -Bolivia first elected indegionist communist , Cuba's genocide brothers, Hugo Chavez's hand selected Che Guevara . All this fits finely with it's all Americas fault. As an aside, for some reason Pope Fransis looks a lot like Uncle Fester from the Adams family. Thus, the blame, claim and cast all our problems not on Central American communism, secret police and gulags and the Catholic Church, but rather it's the Protestants fault, I meant capitalists.
