District Attorney Greg Edwards outlined much of a statement he released Wednesday in a news conference. But he said that he would be open to any further efforts by police in the case.

Jones was released from custody Wednesday after agreeing to appear in court for a misdemeanor charge of possession of a dangerous drug. ...

Murder a baby while in the womb an hour before he/she would have been delivered, and the world thinkks nothing of it. Murder that same baby an hour after he/she is delivered and the world comes together, gasping in horror that any human being is capable of such a terrible crime. The next day, it's all over the airwaves as the talking heads and news outlets, etc, make it the topic of the day, wondering what could have happened that made a person so cold and callous that they would be capable of such a thing...
I agree!

I would like to see more stories like this one (at the provided link) mixed in the SermonAudio news, because most of the news stories are about what's wrong with the world. There are many courageous people who love with God's love, and we need to be reminded of them. God bless!

The term, "to have an abortion," in the Tok Pisin language of Papua New Guinea is, "kilim pikinini long bel." Translated word for word: kilim (kill) pikinini (child/baby) long (at) bel (belly). It broke my heart when I read this years ago. So simply put, so true...

Our society and most societies in the world do not consider abortion to be murder or even a crime in most cases, so the fact they dropped the charges makes legal sense to me. But our Lord who reigns will consider this to be the murder of an innocent little life.

I will pray right now for the salvation of this woman and all parties concerned.

What a painful story to read. Perhaps the outrage in GA will prompt change that will protect others

Interesting...she is being charged with a drug that no longer physically exists; a drug that was crafted for the sole purpose of murder but walks away from the murder itself. What a society.

She's lucky that she didn't get serious medical complications from her act. I would suppose there are later articles on the topic, but this New York Times article is rather vivid. ]]Two die after taking abortion pills
