Kent Hovind is a creation-science evangelist and Baptist minister who has already served eight years of a ten-year prison sentence for alleged tax evasion. Kent has a master’s degree in education. He founded and operated Creation Science Evangelism and has traveled extensively presenting creation-science lectures. He has debated evolutionists in over one hundred debates across the country. Kent also operated Dinosaur Adventure Land in Pensacola, Florida. This was a very popular creation-science museum/theme park. Kent also produced scores of videos on the subject of creation-science that have circled the globe and been translated in over thirty languages. Many people affectionately refer to Kent as “Dr. Dino.” He and his wife have three children; and all three of their children (all grown) worked alongside him in the ministry.

Very good, he is part of it. Therefore Kent is not the only one who does not have to pay any tax at all. Every believer who comprises the church is not obligated to pay any tax.

His latest trial for "mail fraud" ended in a hung jury for all counts except for 1 count of "contempt of court" in 2007. The same Judge presided over both trials and apparently is trying to have the latest trial retried.

In 2006, Kent went to trial and was convicted on all trumped up counts and sentenced to ten years in federal prison. He has been there ever since.
But now the story gets bizarre. Federal prosecutors are currently bringing charges of mail fraud against Kent for using the mail system from inside prison to challenge the lien that the IRS placed upon his property. And, are you ready for this? They want Kent to serve an additional twenty to one hundred years in prison. Obviously, even if he received twenty years, this amounts to a life sentence

Actually, Kent Hovind is in jail because he was so good at debunking evolution and talked about the NWO, the government, taxes and so forth. They don't like people to tell the truth.

if ever a story illustrates how far the 501c3 corporations posing as churches have fallen is to see the wrath of the system on this man of God, in jail for 10 yrs for withdrawing money out of his bank account and now new trumped up charges. He knew the corruption of the age and was teaching on it. to see he is now in isolation is a sad thing to hear. this man of God who is leading so many to Christ...

Research the facts on Hovind and you'll be shocked. He never refused to pay taxes but rather challenged the Govt and the interpretation of the law. He was very open and forthright about his actions. What did this get him? Armed officers surrounding his house at night and taking he and his wife out by force in the middle of the night. Much more to this story! Hovind was making someone very nervous!
