A pro-family advocate is calling the University of Chicago's decision to allow coed dorm rooms troubling.
The university announced the decision to parents in a letter that was sent in mid-December. The change in boarding rules will allow students of the opposite sex to reside in the same room, and the school says the decision was born from a student-led initiative. Students who wish to have a coed roommate will not need parental consent.
I was married at 18 years of age. My now husband and I were living together, then I heard on Christian radio that we needed to be married and we were married that year.

rob, all that which you have suggested might happen has already come to pass, so the harm done by these foolish decisions will have much greater consequences than anything which has already occurred on the college campuses. These campuses are becoming dens of iniquity rather than teachers of knowledge; corrupting rather than correcting.

Of course it's not coincidence.
Ideas have consequences, and many of the ideas and concepts (mostly anti-Christian and atheistic) used by Huxley as presuppositions in order to establish his "Brave New World" HAVE BEEN adopted by our post-modern culture. Therefore, the outcomes of these various ideas are strickingly similar to those consequences foreseen by Huxley ... and Orwell.
[Aldous Huxley's "vision" was closer to what has actually occured than was Orwell's even though elements of both "dystopian" worlds have been realized in part.]

This would be comical if it were not true. Ok let me get this, children whose parents are paying their way through school have the right to unbridle fornication because the voted on it. So how many daycare centers do they propose to open because of the pregnancies that will follow. Just because Johnny want's a gun at three do we have a family vote and give Johnny a loaded gun. Falling, falling into iniquity so next it will be gay people and pedophile mascarading as students.
The University system, whether private or public, is a joke and an affront to decency. Back in the late 90's, many have written about the so-called NEW ESTABLISHMENT and their (plural because it involves not just feminists and socialists, but this ideology is cut from a motley assortment of Self-Godhood) literal takeover of every former aspect of the OLD Establishment, i.e., a moral ethic in work and social life.
Morality being relative, I suppose this is called PROGRESS.
