For Ben Stein, host of an upcoming documentary on the dominance of Darwinism in academia, Darwinism is not just problematic but dangerous even.
In a media teleconference for the film “Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed” on Tuesday, Stein pointed out that Darwinian teaching on natural selection and random mutation "led in a straight line to the holocaust and Nazism."
Darwin said that there were certain species that were superior to other species and all were competing for scarce supplies of food or resources, Stein pointed out. But if there was a limited supply of basic resources, Darwinism taught that "you owe it to the superior race to kill the inferior race," he told reporters....
These verses describe Darwin's problem, a lack of willingness to believe what God says in the Bible and the incredible evidence of infinite intelligent design. 2 Peter3:5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: 6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: 7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

Ha ha...that's right!
My personal favorite 'ideal' physical situation was the wall of "infinite mass", off which the ball was to bounce with perfect elasticity to illustrate our first exposure to the concept of momentum back in our Freshman Physics 1A class.
Only in a later physics classes did we learn that such a wall (of infinite mass) would ALSO have infinite GRAVITY, from which any bouncing ball would never be able to escape from in the first place!
Darwinism is not wrong because of its baneful historical consequences (that is fallacious reasoning), but because of its faulty epistemology. That Stein doesn't see this is clear:
"Who created these laws that keeps the planets in motion?"
"Science is supported by empirical work that can be verified by empirical data."
What laws? No number of experiments can prove a hypothesis to be a "law", or true. And scientific laws only work under ideal conditions, which do not exist.
