TWO THIRDS of UK children pray, according to a new survey carried out by the BBC. However, half of those who pray said they only prayed while at school. The survey also found that 95 per cent of children in Northern Ireland believed in God.
In addition to their beliefs, the survey, conducted by CBBC Newsround, found that 13 per cent of British children never have a meal together with their family and that half of children would like to spend more time with their parents. And more than 25 per cent of those questioned said that they did not consider their father as close family.
