It has come to our attention that scam emails are being sent to our listeners making it appear that they are originating from SermonAudio or our broadcasters. Please be aware of this falsehood and attack on the integrity of this site and on our broadcasters.
Please Note: The email address supplied to receive our weekly newsletter is completely kept private in our system and is in no way accessible to scammers or spammers. Your information stays privately here with SermonAudio. Period. Our privacy policy..
Also, please note: When you submit your email address on the SermonAudio site either in the guestbook, as a comment, or on your homepage, NO ONE can see your actual email address. Now, people will still be able to SEND you an email message via the "middle-man" form on our site. But they will not KNOW your actual address unless you respond to the email.
Finally, always use caution when you receive emails with attachments!
The following is the original notice we received from a listener:
Hello,
I just wanted to alert you that someone is using your list to cull names for deviant activities. I was sent an initial email from "Evangelist Greg Locke." I was told that, in a vision, it was related that a special blessing was waiting for me and that the Lord required something great of me. "Greg Locke" was to pray for me with his prayer warriors. Meanwhile, I was to fast, pray, read scriptures and sing a spiritual song. I was to pray for a revelation of this special work that I was to do. I was to contact them when the fast was broken. Of course, there was no revelation. But that was no problem, because they had one when they were fasting and praying for me! I was to send my "titles" and offerings to an orphanage in the U.K.
I have contacted the real Greg Locke via telephone and he was aware of this scam that was being perpetrated in his name.
Could you please warn the people on your site that this activity is taking place, so that they will not be taken in?

FIRST FALSE SCAM EMAIL EXAMPLE Beloved [user]
I bring you greetings in the matchless name of Jesus Christ our Saviour. Beloved, the Lord spoke to me concerning you and your family in a Vision. I want you to know that the favor of God is upon you and that God have found you worthy of his divine blessing. God sent me a Revelation about you and your family, God opened my eyes to see an open Heaven filled with blessings, breakthrough and supernaturally favour, coming upon your family. But beloved, you need to do something great for God, God wants you to prepare your self as a living sacrifice and as an obedient vessel for his kingdom work on earth, and He needs you to give him your entire Life. Beloved, you have to be strong in your prayer life, and you have to always study your bible.
As a matter of Fact, God said I should have a joint prayer session with you this week, and that I should pray for your whole family matters, and all I need is for you to set aside tomorrow for us to pray. This is your date with destiny and I believe that your best days are ahead. I will like you to pray and ask God to reveal to you what he needs you to do for him in his kingdom, also the Lord reveal that in this fasting and praying period you should study Malachi 3 Vs 6 18, Matthew 25 Vs 31 46. Beloved, I will like you to study those verses. The Spirit revealed that the fasting should be held tomorrow. All you need to do is to start the fasting and praying at your home by 6am with a worship song and prayer, and after that you can go out for your normally daily activities, and by 12noon you will have to break the fasting and praying with a short prayer where ever you are then. And immediately after you have broken the fasting I will like you to write me a mail informing me that you have broken it. And I will be at the church praying and fasting with my prayer warriors concerning you. For the Lord said in Matthew 18:19,20 "Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven. For where two or three have gathered together in my name, there I am in their midst."

Calvary greetings to you in the name of the Lord, I bring greetings to you and your family in Jesus name, you are blessed and remain blessed in Jesus name. I thank you for taking a very great step of having a date with Christ, and I know that God will bless you for this; you and your family will be greatly blessed for this wonderfully date with Christ.
As a matter of fact, as we were having the fasting and praying session, the Lord now showed me a clear revelation concerning you and your family, God revealed to me that he needs you, for a divine mission in the kingdom, for a very unique purpose, to give hope to the less privileged people. Beloved, listen to the words of the Holy Spirit, Thus says the Lord of hosts, prepare a special title and a bountifully offering for the Lord today, but this title and offering will not be brought to the LORD sanctuary, but this substance shall be used as a charity gift, which shall be sent to an orphanage Home, which I the Lord of hosts have revealed to my Servant. Thus says the Lord of hosts. Beloved, the Lord have spoken to you this day, and he revealed to me of an orphanage home, which the Lord of hosts have chosen for this divine purpose, revealing only the email address of the orphanage home ([email protected]) in a vision. And all you need to do is to pray and write to this orphanage home immediately, asking them on how this charity gift (title and offering) will be sent to their orphanage home. Sending of this charity gift must be done immediately, for there is a great revelation of breakthrough, divine favour, divine connections which the Lord have prepared for you and your family, and which will be unfolded to you, immediately you have obeyed the voice of the Lord. Thus says the Lord of hosts.
