What Baptism Is This? In Matthew 3:11 John the Baptist spoke of 3 Baptisms, namely Baptism by water, Baptism by the Holy Ghost and Baptism by fire.
In Col2:12 The word Baptism in the phrase 'Buried with Him in Baptism' refers to Christ's Baptism By Fire.
The Holy Spirit called His atoning work on the cross a baptism, a washing of sins for those who are united with Him: Rom 6:4 - Buried with him by baptism into death. John the Baptist rightly called it as a Baptism by fire, because the Lord Jesus was going to endure the equivalent of an eternity in Hell both in His soul and in His body
Great Sermon! All praises to our God who made me to hear this sermon just at the right time as i go through some tough times. I was convicted of my thankless heart and convinced a little more of His tender, kind compassionate heart.Psa 145:8 The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.Thank you very much Pastor. I pray that God may continue to strenghthen you both physically and spiritually to serve this awesome God.
Great Sermon! Thank you Pastor for this edifying sermon on RESURRECTION and REDEMPTION.
I pray that His Spirit of Wisdom will give more and more insights to you so that we all can be blessed by your sermons.
Thank you Lord for this sermon.
' ' God declares in His Holy Word that man cannot do anything to get saved, that salvation is 100% God’s work from start to finish and that no one is saved who believes contrary to this. What better news could there possibly be for man than to learn that God, Who demands perfection, does not save sinners based on their imperfect efforts, but on the perfect obedience unto death (the Righteousness) of Jesus Christ.
Great Sermon! Jesus died not to make a bonafide offer of salvation to all people indefinitely, but to actually secure the salvation of a definite group: his sheep, his bride, his people, the many, the children.
Baptism By Fire 'In Col 2:12 We read there of Christ’s baptism by fire. The Lord Jesus called His atoning work on the cross a baptism, a washing of sins, and John the Baptist called it correctly a baptism by fire, because the Lord Jesus was going to endure the equivalent of an eternity in Hell.'
Great Sermon! The best sermon i have ever heard on the powerlessness of the law. Pastor clearly explains with many scripture references in the first sermon of this series 'What The Law Could Not Do'. It cannot make us perfect, can't bestow life, can't give righteousness, can't justify us, can't take away sins, can't give a new heart, can't enable us to obey God. But all these things Gospel can and does do.
Great Sermon! churches of the Charismatic Movement today claim that God is still speaking today through utterances of the saints, and God is still bringing Divine revelations today in dreams, and in visions, and in angel visitations and in tongues, These are all heresies. God said in Rev 22:18 that He will not any more give Divine messages. The Bible is complete, and God will not add to it, nor take away from it. The Bible gives us a complete image of God, and so we may not add to this image of God, nor may we take away from it. God gave us the Bible to be The Authority that we must honor and obey.
Great Sermon! But if we come to faith at a time when we have already divorced and remarried several times, what then shall we do? God is merciful. We have sinned in ignorance. We may be compared to an OT saint, like David, who had 12 wives. Each of them was legitimately married to David. And thus if we have divorced three times and we have married four times it means that we have accumulated four wives. But now that we have become saved we should remain in the marriage wherein we are found, and consider our present wife as the one and only mate we have. But it also means that we are no longer eligible to accept the function of elder or deacon of a church, for we read in 1Tim 3 that an elder as well as a deacon must be the husband of one wife.

This is a very sound advice given by Pastor Alfred Chompff in a sermon titled 'Marriage and Divorce'
