This happened before in Sodom and Gomorrah when Lot and his family were removed then Boom!!Whilst we watch the secular reprobates increase in power and number and watch the church disappear as it is doing, then end of the world and judgment day.
One of the things we are also seeing is that sound Bible doctrine is disappearing from the churches. Liberalism and its sister Arminianism is being taught instead of the Bible.
On John Owen the Puritan's tomb it records,
"In polemical theology with more than herculean strength he strangled three poisonous serpents the Arminian, the Socinian and Roman."
Looks like this battle against these heretics still rages today.
