Sermon:
Psalm 62 & Social Justice
Pastor Robert Truelove
1
comment
“ Great Sermon! ”
I'm glad to see the true Gospel of grace preached and a pastor who is unafraid to condemn specific evils that threaten Christians right now. The KJV usage also shows a striving for truth.

Thanks Watchmanrem.
I forgot how Trump said he never needed forgiveness.

Now the 'Christian' Trump supporter endorses & supports:
1. A blasphemer ('second coming of God', 'king of Israel', 'chosen one')
2. Unrepentant on purpose ('Why do I have to repent or ask for forgiveness, if I am not making mistakes?')
3. A liar for then claiming to be Christian.

Trump is Nebuchadnezzar before God turned him into a beast-like man for his pride.
Maybe God will make Trump repent, or maybe he will just be broken.
However, Trump claims to be a Christian, and that appears to be his undoing:

Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

I've laid out the truth as best as possible.
And now that you have read this, you must be responsible.

James 4:17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

Frank:
'Context, context, context.'

Apparently Frank and John have forgotten the context of this argument:
Trump's repeated, unrepentant blasphemy and the 'Christians' that support him without condemning the blasphemy.

Frank, who seemingly has been a voice of reason...
you excuse Trump's blasphemy and use David as an excuse!
I ask you to repent of this shame.

And John, please help me with another obtrusive lesson in basic Bible interpretation, so that you can help others avoid facing the truth at hand.

Daniel 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

Who else but Trump has been more divisive between real Christians?
Trump, the prototype Antichrist, is wearing the real saints out.

John UK:
'Context is always the...' blah blah blah.

(Instead of derailing that Trump is an open blasphemer, and that supposed Christians unashamedly support blasphemy...)
Have you ever heard of 'types'?

Lurker:
'Say hi to another Trump hater...'

I don't hate Trump.
(And we all know Biden and Bernie are going to Hell anyway.)
I only desire God's wrath on Trump for being an unrepentant blasphemer, in front of the whole world, much like Antichrist will do.

John UK:
I do not dismiss various interpretations. I just see this as part of understanding the delusion; as I said: 'helped me to better understand'.
The 'delusion' here is that 'Christians' will defend a sinner and his sins to the death, while sinking their teeth into, and ripping apart, a fellow Christian.

Lurker:
'But don't you dare launch bible verses at me...'

Matthew 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

1517:
'Which, by the way, is most blasphemous.'

You judge me as blasphemous, when you openly support a blasphemer.

Matthew 23:28 Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.

I'd advise you to cut your losses while you're behind.
You're right.
I'm behind all those 'Christians' that support Trump.
It was a losing argument to begin with.
And I am glad to be left behind.

Amos 3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed?

The replies to my comments here, as well as from other 'Christians' online regarding the truth about Trump, has helped me to better understand these verses:

2 Thessalonians 2:11-12 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

James 4:17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

You know Trump is a blasphemer.
You also know the end does not justify the means.
Therefore James 4:17 applies to you.

The Quiet Christian:
'this is the time and place in which he has placed us for just such a time. Now is our turn to be salt and light in a decaying and darkening world.'

Exactly, Quiet Christian!
So stand against the world and do not vote for Trump!
Trump has openly mocked God multiple times, and the entire world has heard his blasphemy.
Just who does that remind you of?
And standing before God, even now, would you still hold to making excuses?

Lurker:
'Seems confusing to me.', 'Now I'm really confused.'

That's not true Lurker, as your obfuscation is clearly thought out.

Excuses, excuses.

Phillip Mezzapelle: 'will cause the least amount of damage...'

Dr. Tim: 'Biden would do far, far more damage.'

Frank: 'Abortion is my primary issue.'

The Quiet Christian: 'Very well put...'

Neil: 'What Trump said is no different...'

Just opt out.
You have a duty to opt out as a Christian, unless you enjoy supporting blasphemy.
As Trump is a blasphemer, he is an enemy of God, which means he hates you as a Christian.

Hosea 4:6-7 ¶ My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. 7 As they were increased, so they sinned against me: therefore will I change their glory into shame.

So when you are moving your 'right hand' to vote for what is 'in the forehead'; perhaps you are only doing what your sin has programmed you to do.
If that is an accusation against you, my supposed fellow Christians, then so be it.

Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

Trump takes God so lightly. This new statement and his previous retweets about being the 'second coming of God' and 'king of Israel', show his obvious blasphemous and godless state.
At least the duplicitous Bush family tried to maintain some appearance of being Christian leaders.

Psalms 18:26-27 With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself froward. 27 For thou wilt save the afflicted people; but wilt bring down high looks.

My vote is not for Trump.
My vote is not for Biden.
I do not willingly support evil.

Dear hey_yo
I am so sorry, for you, to read your post, because despite coming across a someone very religious, you write as someone who isn't saved (isn't born again, regenerate) let alone filled with the Holy Spirit who knows God and genuinely loves His Word
This is NOT so much for "hey_yo" but for a sweet encouragement for all of you sinners, like me,
...
How are you able to criticize me as 'very religious' and then go on to post this type of message... in a 'very religious' manner?

And I do thank God that my salvation is not based on your opinion of what salvation is.
As with all 'street preaching', I can't even imagine what hodge-podge so-called gospel you have concocted.
After all, you lack the only English Bible cared for by divine providence, tried and proven true in every doctrine, the KJV.

As for the abortion mills, the law should be involved:
1) Every woman entering into an abortion clinic should be charged with conspiracy to murder.
2) The death penalty should be enacted for every woman who had an abortion.

Sorry, but 'murder is murder'; I won't change that.
Also, the conviction from the Holy Spirit is infinitely different from anything considered to be 'feelings'.
(I know that street preaching and confrontational clinic protesting relies heavily on exploiting 'feelings'.)

If you think God is leading you to protest murderers, then go ahead, by all means.
Again, zero conviction from me.
To add your Proverbs verses, I know fully well what they are doing, and I am not stopping them.
Just as I am not stopping you from using modern Bible perversions that corrupt the very words of a Holy God.

Then again...
I must try, and for THAT I feel conviction like there is no tomorrow.
You are contributing to the murdering of Scripture and adding to the lie that the words of your corrupt bible are Holy.
You are contributing to the very core of the problem as to why many women murder their children and every societal problem:
the corruption of Holy Scripture,
the corruption of Holy Commandments.

Your clinic protests are only as strong as your man-made rephrasing of the Bible.

Murder is murder.

I feel zero conviction to argue, picket, or try to 'win them over' to salvation.
If they murder without remorse,
then they are meant to be damned.

And if a woman who has an abortion becomes Christian (born-again),
then let her burn inwardly with that shame for the rest of her mortal life.
These days she'd become a bestselling Evangelical author, have speaking engagements, or some other abomination, making money off of her evil 'past'; while supposedly being a regenerate Christian.

I'm sure I'll regret this, but when the jailer asked Sirs, what must I do to be saved?, the answer wasn't "You have nothing to do, it's 100% all been done for you"
Right.
Because that is not the order of salvation.
Everything has order in God's creation.
He chose us, so that we are able to, and will, choose Him.
He chose us before the 'foundation of the world' (Eph 1:4).
And made it unavoidable, by 'having predestinated us unto the adoption'. (Eph 1:5)
He 'made us accepted' (Eph 1:6), by the 'blood' of Jesus Christ (Eph 1:7).
And by 'wisdom and prudence' (Eph 1:8), we are able to choose Him. (Even though we have already been chosen.)

Dr. Tim wrote:
Where does the BIBLE declare that man is unable to choose for or against Jesus Christ?
1 Corinthians 2:8-14 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

I'm not surprised that a Free Will church is obstinate towards government, as they are froward towards even God, in believing that their will can save themselves.
Rebellion is the basis of Free Will.
However, I am glad that there is opposition to where government does not belong.

Unfortunately these days, it appears that many of my so-called Calvinist brethren have bent the knee in fear and cowardice.
(Well, I gave up on the ones that gave up on the KJV and TR some time ago anyway.)

'At best, these senators are ignorant'

There is no 'at best'.
They know.
Stop lying to yourself, these senators do the devil's work.
Only by their mistaken greed are these minions capable of accidentally doing something good.
This is ALL OF THEM.

I don't expect people to 'wake up'.
At best, I want to make their sleep a little more uncomfortable.

Wal-Mart is nothing more than a retail store. That's it. Biblically it has nothing to do with the beast or any other figure mentioned.
Worshipping in the Spirit and the truth does not require any type of building whatsoever.
True.
But would you say the same about worshipping in a rented mosque?
What about in a cathedral with a false Mary statue staring down at you?

1 Corinthians 14:40 Let all things be done decently and in order.

This Pastor Waldrop is a political opportunist and is harmful to the Gospel.
He cares more about being persecuted for his prideful political statement than to defy the police that came into his church.
That should tell you something.
Let the real pastors defy the evil orders by preaching simply from their own pulpits.

But Walmart already has it's own gospel: the woman riding the beast.

Frank wrote:
If I was shopping in WalMart and people were holding a church service that was disrupting to me, I would complain.
What, Frank.
Don't you like hearing the Pentecostal false gospel peddlers further distorting the truth in the ears of the godless?
It is your duty then as a Christian to rebuke these false teachers... and get ready for a public shaming, internet doxing, and possible savage beating.
As if your Walmart shopping wasn't nightmarish enough.
(Sorry for the jokes... otherwise, this fast moving evil is disheartening.)

Just as with the 'worship' in the Walmart;
do we finally qualify for the 'abomination of desolation'?

I'm not condemning worship during this time at all, but this blows my mind!

Evangelicalism and modern Christianity is bursting with people constantly selling Bibles, selling books, selling events, selling sermons, selling Bible software, selling missionary work, sell, sell, sell.
And now churches are forced to worship in these spiritually filthy venues.
