AVA- your continual slanderous accusations say much about the condition of your heart. You may possess a bit of 'head knowledge' but the hatred in your heart is another matter indeed. Your hatred of Roman Catholics and anyone who disagrees with your 'views' is NOT biblical. You may think you born again, but your fruit appears suspect. Those who follow RCC doctrine are to be prayed for, not repeatedly attacked with your senseless rambling. Your insulting my moniker doesn't bother me, I would expect it from someone who has no love in their heart, who possess a 'stony heart' and not a 'heart of flesh'. Again, I challenge you to show me in scripture where God says, "Use only the KJV, not the NASB, ESV, NKJV". I assure you, God will get through to those He saves. Nothing more needs to be said for those who viciously attack; after all, God knows the true motive and intent, and He alone will deal with the tares. |

KJO- I disagree with your freewill theory; spare me the argument and the passages arminians live by, and I will not get on that merry-go-round. I know from personal experience I ran from God, wanted nothing to do with Christ, and loved my sinful life. I was in bondage to it, that is, until God humbled me. He broke my hardened heart and bolted through the bars that were keeping Christ out. Upon bringing me to godly sorrow, which led to my repenting {by the Spirit's convicting power}, He saved me. He drew me, He saved me, and will keep me safely in His mighty hand until Christ returns, or I leave this forsaken world, whichever happens first. How do I know I am saved? My heart has been changed, my thoughts are of Christ, and He alone is transforming me into His image, all by His doing, through His word; I never contributed a thing to this free gift of salvation that God brings forth. HE draws, HE calls, HE Alone saves. I suppose, by your standards, R.C. Sproul is hellbound as well, for that matter, I guess, by your standards, I too am destined for the eternal lake of fire. Praise God He is the lone judge, He knows the hearts of men, He knows who belong to Him.

As for my comment on condemning others, I believe King James Only proves my point. What harsh, hateful, judgmental words!!!
I do not know Mr. Piper's heart, nor am I familiar with his ministry, but don't you think we should pray for him, instead of condemning him to hell??!! We are to pray for all people, not judge them and condemn them to hell. Perhaps we should spend more time in our bibles, whatever translation we prefer, and in prayer, and less time in sitting over one another in judgment. |
