Great Sermon! This sermon has shed light on Apostle Paul's apostleship which I found to be very helpful. I also like the examples you gave on Moses, Samson, Solomon, etc. to help me understand how God set His people apart to do His work. Ephesians 2:10 reads “For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Very good encouragement.Thank you for teaching!
A Willfully Deceived People The sermon caught my eye as a YouTube suggested video. JM lays out Scriptural proof that BLM values are antithetical to the Word of God's teachings on the righteous conduct of the people of God. The attack on the covenant of marriage, heterosexuality, fathers, and Christian values is in full force by BLM and JM pulls back the curtain on it. May God use this to wake up a slumbering nation before November turns into a bloodbath in America.
Wayfarer Pilgrim wrote: Well, the “Message” was a dubious paraphrase of the Bible. Any pastor that quotes from is just quoting a commentary from a episcopal priest.
The first few words of the article state he was a Presbyterian minister. I believe Peterson himself called it a paraphrase as opposed to a translation and one would not expect it was often used a standard pulpit text.
Great Sermon! Thank you for this series on Revelation. It being a book of great mystery and misunderstanding, it's a blessing to hear a well prepared presentation to bring clarity to the soul.
