"“I regard the brain as a computer which will stop working when its components fail,” ......
“There is no heaven or afterlife for broken down computers; that is a fairy story for people afraid of the dark.”" He is right there is no heaven for brains, (flesh components) we leave the flesh behind and the spirit goes into the spiritual realm.
However he has referred to the "components" - but not to the power. The electricity working the components does not just turn to dust it remains as a power enabled from a source. Just as the spirit working the bodies "components" does not return to the dust.
Reprobates make their comments on religion from the position of complete ignorance. They do not do this on other subjects because they see the point of talking from ignorance as being crass and at best speculative. But they seem to consider their conjecture on faith and religion as being somehow just as expert as the experts?
