Jim Lincoln, which version is easier to understand? “Can that which is tasteless be eaten without salt, or is there any taste in the slime of the purslane?” Job 6:6 RSV or “Can that which is unsavoury be eaten without salt? or is there any taste in the white of an egg?” Job 6:6 KJV I rest my case. New perversions are just that.
Just a guy, as a disabled veteran I’m a little offended at your comments. Lurkers point on any job you have and get hurt, the company pays for it. We’re not talking about a private business though, it’s the country where you can post something on sermon audio, have an opinion to do so and have the FREEDOM without recourse. That freedom has been bought with the lives of our veterans. Also ,“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:13 KJV These men and women come to this realization while serving this country.
I’m a Veteran trying to get a TBI recognized. Do either of you have access to the entire article? I hope it can be benificial but I’m not a subscriber to the WSJ.
John Y, that is why I also invited you to the special meetings we have coming up in May so you don’t have to miss out on Pastor Steve’s uplifting sermons. I’m pretty sure you don’t have services on Thursday, Friday or Saturday.
Hi John, there is another Baptist Church in town and I would like to invite you to it. It’s Berean Bible Baptist Church. If you don’t want to miss a regular service at your church we have a revival May 16th to 20th. We don’t have a band though, just a piano and old fashion hymns.
First time responder. I’ve been reading your thread and I live near John’s church and actually attended it a few years back before I was saved. I do think it’s watered down and am surprised they are Baptist. Just thought I would put my 2 cents in.
Everyone should hear this message Powerful message! Sad and frightening to think how many people are deceived. How many "church going" people will hear the awful words - depart from me for I never knew you. How many "church going" people still want to be in the world when the Bible says not to be conformed to the world. Satan seeks souls to devour!!
Somber Reminder Rev. Speck gives an somber reminder of our great need for Christ's intercession through all events. In "natural" disasters God's providential grace can be seen and explained by Christians not only to our own children but also to the unbelievers.
