Fantastic Clarity Thank you, Denny, for the fantastic clarity of the gospel of Grace this past Sunday. The Lord has been revealing to me more and more of this amazing, a thousand adjectives that cannot do justice to the story of Grace in the character of Jesus Christ; especially within these past two years. Since my husband left in 2010, I am amazed daily at His care and provision in my life; filling up the void and surrounding me with HIs insurmountable love. Indeed our souls are restless until they rest in HIM. I thought I'd lost everything meaningful in life, but only to realize this was for my good in order to gain the richness of Jesus. My burden for women who have been forsaken (or have lost their husbands in some way) has grown deeper and more compassionate. This terrible heartbreak has enriched my speaking engagements for Christ.... Pray for me that many women are reached for Christ.... May the GRACE of Christ be preached.... This is what we need to hear, so thank you for doing just that. Received by email. |

Confused,All born again Christians sin, and struggle with sin. A true Christian falls into sin against his will, while a false professing Christian dives into sin, enjoying its pleasures. Being born of God's Spirit will not make you sinless. It will radically change you so that you cannot tolerate sin, and HATE it when you do sin. If you sincerely repented and trusted in the finished work of Jesus Christ who took your punishment, God brought His Spirit to birth in your heart. Although there are those on this forum who are going to disagree with me and cause you more confusion for what I am about to say, if God works a miracle in your heart upon your saving belief, bringing His Spirit to birth in you, God has done this work and NOTHING can change that. We do not die in the Spirit as some claim. The Holy Spirit is eternal, and when we are born of the Holy Spirit, we are eternally indwelled. Confused, when you say you were "saved" I'm am assuming that you: -saw that you were a vile sinner deserving of hell, -repented (turned from sin) and trusted in Jesus Christ taking your punishment for your sin to pay your sin debt. If so upon your saving faith,God worked a miracle in your heart giving you a new one full of His Holy Spirit. You are saved, forever. |

GG, tell me how believing is an action?"And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I "DO" to be saved? And they said, Believe "ON" the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved, and thy house". (Acts 16:30-31, emphasis mine) "Verily, Verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word and believeth "ON" him that sent me hath(NOW HAS) everlasting life, and SHALL NOT COME INTO CONDEMNATION; but IS PASSED from death unto LIFE. (John 5:24, parenthesis and emphasis mine) He that believeth "ON" the Son hath(NOW HAS) everlasting life; he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. (John 3:36, parenthesis, and emphasis mine) "He that believeth "ON" him is NOT CONDEMNED: but he that believeth NOT is CONDEMNED ALREADY, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." GG, the Scriptures are very plain. Are you trusting in the finished work of Jesus Christ suffering in your place as the Scriptures reveal Him? Don't trust in the false jesus that satan has invented thru the catholic church. |

GG, the only "action" that is required is to believe "on" Jesus Christ. Trust in Him, repent and turn to Him, Believe "ON" Him. THe moment we trust in Him with a repentant heart, God SAVES us, He births His Spirit in us, He changes us completely, radically, dramatically, and eternally. We then have power to overcome sin, we can then understand the Bible, we then have an intimate knowledge of the things of God. It is then that we begin to do works that are described in James.Trust in Jesus Christ of the Bible, not the jesus of the eucharist or the little baby jesus that Rome holds so dear. |
